Reviews about Sushi Naruto describe fresh, flavorful sushi with generous portions and attractive presentation, earning high praise like best sushi in town and consistently good service, with staff friendly and even delivering extra wasabi when asked. The experience is largely takeaway oriented, as many reviews mention it is pickup only and some wish for seating, while others remark that prices have risen and can be high compared with local competitors; one review notes being charged for wafu sauce. While there are occasional comments about fish quality or taste varying for sashimi, overall the rolls, such as spicy salmon maki, are described as delicious, tender, and substantial, and many reviewers say they would order again, appreciating the value and amount of food for the price. Overall, Sushi Naruto comes across as a strong option for fresh sushi with generous portions and reliable flavor, with positive impressions tempered by price considerations and the current pickup-only format.
I'd venture to say this is the best sushi place around for those in St-Lazare, Hudson & Rigaud. Rivals some of the upscale places in Montreal, though my experience is limited to takeout. Update June 2024: Quality & value slipping over the last few years unfortunately. I'd say OK in a pinch, otherwise look elsewhere.

We gave this place another shot & we were pleasantly surprised. Turns out, third time can be the charm. The sushi rice was good, the fish was fresh, & the prices were what one expects.

So disappointing. Presentation was awful. The chicken looked as if it had been sitting out for days. Husband & myself were too scared to eat the chicken.

This has always been my go-to place for sushi (even pregnant) & this past Saturday I ordered for the first time in a while, & the sushi were not fresh. The tuna was rubbery, & the sushis tasted fishy. I'm super disappointed as this is the first occurrence in 4 years . I will just stop eating sushi at this point because I basically just threw away 80$.
