It was our first time at this restaurant, & we were celebrating my birthday. Chef Danh warmly welcomed us, & after hearing it was a special occasion, he recommended we try the omakase, & it was absolutely perfect & with cheap price! Highly recommend for everyone!
Every dish was delicious, beautifully balanced, & felt like a true taste of Japan. The surprise tiger prawn tempura cake & birthday song from the staff made the night even more unforgettable.
100% will be coming back again,no question about it 🍣💛
Chef Danh treated us like friends, not just customers. This was hands down the best Japanese dining experience I've had in Montreal. both for the food & the hospitality.
Sushi is the best in Boucherville so far & I've tried 3 others.
Only issue is they use almost entirely the same ingredients in all the maki rolls. They all have cucumber, avocado & tempura bits, pickled radish & tobiko.
The only change is the protein so after a while the texture & flavour profiles become too similar & I don't feel like I've actually eating different rolls.
I'm used to Vancouver sushi so the prices in Boucherville are incredibly high
I would give it a 7/10 for sushi
& 4/10 for value for money
We had reservations for a special occasion. We were friendly greeted & had a place close to the chef. Water, tea & warm towels for cleaning our hands quickly were served. Great varieties on the menu we saw but we had our guidance of friendly staff. Our experience at Hamachi Sushi was again incredible
Un must à Boucherville.

Been here when they first opened a decade ago & have been back recently. As amazing as my first experience with quality fresh fish at a fair price. The rolls, nigiris & sashimis were all of high quality. The beef tataki was very good. The grilled squid was so damn tender. Cozy restaurant so bookings are highly recommended. Biggest shrimp tempuras I ever seen. Family friendly with lots of free parking.
