Ramen restaurant in the heart of Montreal's chinatown. The ramen broth was ok, the soup was not as thick as what I'm used to. The noodles were like instant noodles texture. However, the beef was delicious! It wasn't the typical ramen meat but more of a Chinese style. The place felt a bit cramped, also there was no AC.View more

The appetizer items (takoyaki, gyoza & fried shrimp dumplings) we're excellent, the soup was pretty good but overall basic. The ramen egg was a bit overdone. It was still a good place to eat, I would try it again. The service was amazing & very attentive!View more
Excellent tasty food. I went there with my son to have diner. We had a soup classique with pork & rice noodles, pork & beef dumplings, chicken brochettes. We also had a cheesecake & a fried bun for dessert. We found a very reasonable price for all this tasty amount of food. Pork dumplings were my favourites. My son loved the soup. & the staff is super nice. Highly recommend it.View more
We ordered sumo ramen 🍜 with pepper soup, the beef stew rice bowl & the egg tofu. The ramen was tasty, the soup was also good (not salty). The beef stew rice bowl was a bit spicy but tasty. Egg tofu was yummy especially when it was still hot (right after they served it!).View more
Clearly not a Japanese restaurant. The pork in the soup looked like spam. Friendly service though!View more
Super service aussi:)))View more

I'm visiting Montreal & happened in on this hidden gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is great. Check out the spicy fish soup!View more
View more
Vraiment la meilleure place de soupe ! Croyez moi laissez vous tentez !!View more

Ramen tastes absolutely delicious. The volcano ramen & Sumo ramen are highly recommended. Soup is bold & faty. I wish the ramen noodle would be thicker. Good customer service. The location is on 2nd floor of building, quite hidden from the street. If the cashier counter would decorate better it will be impressed. Overall, nice to try onceView more
View more
The vibe & atmosphere is great. Service was average. Prices were affordable. The ramen, however, is exactly how you would expect ramen in Chinatown to taste like. You don’t get the deep umami flavour from authentic Japanese ramen shops but instead a more clear but still salty broth. Very Chinese style soup base.View more
I wished someone WARNED me never to go there!!!
One of the worst restaurant experience EVER really!
When we arrived, we were asked to sit close to the kitchen. I asked why, as it's really hot outside so we want to sit outside the a/c. so the waiter reluctantly sat us closer to the window with a/c on.
Once we were handed the menu, we started looking at the menu. The waiter came to us repeatedly to see if we were ready to order. We felt a little rushed, but we didn't think much of it.
We ordered a shrimp curry rice & jumbo sumon noodles. The whole plate of curry rice has only 4 tiny shrimps & the curry had no vegetables on it besides that. The miso soup that came with it tasted a bit too salty, but the bowl is super tiny because it came with the meal. & the salad was a tiny plate too.
My jumbo sumon noodles did not have twice the amount of noodles as regular one. & the bowl of noodles was super oily. I said I wanted a jumbo regular soup, but they charged me $1 for miso soup seasoning noodles. I never said that but I paid the extra charge anyway because the waiter was accusing me of something I didn't say, & I didn't want to argue for $1 & keep my date waiting.
We were also told we could not have tea cuz it's extra $2 & ask us to pay for extra $2 for the tea when I ask why.
The entire Montreal Chinatown has tea included as part of the meal serving & they asked to pay extra for everything. Definitely NOT WORTH your money!!! RUN!! Don't EVER go there!
For the bill being $30, I feel I really should have gone to a store besides it so that we would go to all-you-can-eat Yamazachi sushi on St-Laurent 2 stores down.
WORST experience EVER, will NEVER repeat in my lifetime!!! & you should think twice before going!!!
OVERPRICED & MOST DEFINITELY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Also, the food is okay & MOST definitely not worth it!!
