The restaurant has a more modern vibe compared to other Lebanese places, which is refreshing. However, I found it disappointing that they don't bring the menu or bill to the table, which feels less welcoming. We ordered the chicken shawarma & kafta kebab. The chicken was delicious & juicy, but the kebab, unfortunately, was tough. The salad seemed far from fresh, as if it had been prepared days in advance. The fries, though, were the standout! They were a masterpiece, especially with the sumac sprinkled on top, which made them unique & absolutely delicious. A great Middle Eastern place - wonderful tasty falafel, some great salads, & really don't sleep on the fries. The drinks were really good as well! Portions were in the large side, & even splitting with my husband, we were pretty full. Looking forward to trying it again soon!Voir plus

Its our first time at Sumac. The hostess was very welcoming & ushered my group to a cosy corner. She also patiently explained us how & what to order. We ordered some beers & chicken shawarma plates. The beer can we ordered was very fizzy & David, the owner of the place, was kind enough to notice this & replaced it quickly. The shawarma plates were delicious & very filling! Definitely a solid notch above the usual lebanese restaurants I dined to. Their shawarma chicken is more juicy, well cooked & seasoned than other similar venues. The choices of sides is also more diverse & just feel more authentic. Definitely try if you are in the area with a craving for Lebanese cuisine on the go.Voir plus
From the moment we entered the place everything was an experience, they gave us a number & told us we could choose & then go straight to the checkout. The cashier was completely friendly, she recommended some drinks & advised us well with the food, the waitresses were very friendly, one of them even returned one of the dishes without having asked for it, just because of the presentation, what a detail. Clean bathroom, clean place, large tables, place 10 out of 10 to return again. The plate where the food comes is a little small which makes it difficult to eat easily, the portions are BIG & worth the priceVoir plus
