Pierogies were freshly made & boiled (I prefer fried to get the crusty outside) with carmelized diced onion on top served with sauerkraut & sour cream. The potato pancakes (4) were served with choice of apple sauce or sour cream. I ordered them with apple sauce so I can use the sour cream from the Pierogies combined with the potato pancakes so I can have an apple sauce/sour cream combo on potato pancakes. They also had live piano music as well. Great atmosphere!View more
A great spot in the middle of old town. Super homey & well prepared Polish classics, plus some new dishes I've never tried. Service friendly & quick. Worth a visit! Try the croquettes entree if you aren't a vegetarian.View more
We try to make it to Stash every time we visit Montreal. Good cocktails, Great food, friendly staff, super cool atmosphere, especially when the piano player is doing his thing.View more
This place was phenomenal! I strongly suggest the sausage soup & the debutant main dish as it allows you to try multiple dishes. All of them were delicious.View more
I had a lovely dinner here on a Friday night. We shared a delicious selection of appetizers & drinks. The pierogies were top notch, & everything tasted so authentic (said my Ukrainian friend). The pianist playing live music was also fabulous - excellent acoustic renditions of hits from the 90s. I hope to return next time I am in Montreal.View more

Lovely place, great atmosphere, very friendly service & homey feel to the delicious meal, just like someone's grandma just made it fresh for us. Pirogies, Kotlets & cabbage stew Bigos was unbelievably delicious.View more

The staff were very much'in the weeds' when we came in, but they still treated us with care & made the experience unforgettable. I'd like to thank Casper specifically for making the experience a special one. Thank you to all of the staff there, we very much appreciate you.View more
Exceptional food that gets traditional Polish cuisine down to every little detail. Nightly piano to add to the incredible atmosphere & service. All at a very reasonable price for old Montreal.View more
We walked here from our hotel on a Sunday evening for dinner. The pierogi & kielbasa were so delicious that we ordered a second kielbasa. The ogorkowa (pickle soup) was surprisingly balanced, with mild & just the right amount of pickle flavor. The drinks were delicious, although I ordered a prosecco & got a second Polish mimosa instead. The Polish mimosa was delicious, so I just drank it without complaining. The pork was a little dry & service was slow. However, the pianist was lovely - great song selection & not too loud - so overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner!View more
A quick bite to eat & polish style food. I taste the pierogis are tasty we had one of each flavor! Our server humoured us & was a great! We couldn't pronounce some. Dishes but they laughed & joked with us! Amazing!View more

Metered street parking is always challenging in the Old Port, especially with summer construction. I suggest finding parking outside the Old Port & walking over. It's a beautiful walk. Reservations are highly recommended. There are bar seats for walk-ins. There's live piano music in the evening. The place is charming, but a little dark (wandering to the bathroom is an adventure). There's an original drinks menu. Service was excellent & friendly, everyone was kind & helpful. I love the traditional Polish dishes (I had to google a lot of the names). There's a beginner's plate in the Table d'Hote for those who want to try a little bit of everything. The plate was yummy & generous. I left very full & satisfied.View more
