This place really needs no introduction but I will leave my review regardless. It’s a historic bagel establishment that makes delicious hand made bagels all day.
As soon as you walk in, you can see its history plastered in the walls & feel how proud everyone is to be working there.
They don’t just sell bagels! They sell anything from t-shirts & hats, to seasonings & spreads.
The only gripe that I have is that it’s cash only. They do have an atm in the shop but they charge $3 service fee so I recommend that you come prepared!

One thing to note: this place is CASH ONLY! A must try when in Montreal, I found out! Came here one morning to try these bagels. They were fresh out the wood fired oven! They were so warm & smelled nice. I got the sesame bagel & it was so nice to eat warm. I ate it plain & without any spread. I took few to go & while they were not the same as freshly baked, they were still good in the toaster. They seem lighter than the bagels you’d get in USA.Voir plus

The bagels were great & you can see them being made fresh in the store. Be aware that this is a CASH ONLY establishment but there is an ATM machine in the store to use.
