bagels(326) cash(77) fresh(75) sesame(59) cheese(35) oven(28) shop(24) dozen(20) atm(17)After everything we've heard about this place, we must have shown up on an off day. We walked in & all the workers just looked at us, we started to wonder if we'd walked into the wrong door. After buying our bagels we went outside to eat them. We got an everything & an onion bagel. Pretty chewy & tasteless. We came here because Phil went nuts about these bagels, even saying they were better than NY bagels. Not only did they come nowhere close to a NY bagel, I've had better bagels pretty much from a grocery store in Phoenix. Not sure what all the love for this place is, but again, maybe we arrived on an off day.Voir plus
Cool authentic bagel bakery. Wood fired ovens & always loads of delicious fresh bagels. We go here every time to get bagels for our breakfasts. Our favorite is with cream cheese & smoked salmon.Voir plus
We got the last twelve bagels of the night. Excellent of course. Excellent service.Voir plus
If you come here you probably won't care for the reviews. You know what you're coming here for. Good bagels. Who cares what the service is like, but fortunately it's good.Voir plus
Was wonderful food . But very busy & crowded. I also thought the prices were a bit expensiveVoir plus
Great bagels here! Don't ask for a muffin, you will be disappointed.Voir plus
While the odd experience of waiting outside in line may initially catch you off guard at St. Viateur Bagel, it swiftly transforms into an anticipation that's entirely worth the wait. The aroma wafting from the bakery builds excitement, & once inside, the fresh, delectable bagels make the outdoor wait seem like a small price to pay for such culinary delight. The oddity of the experience adds a unique charm to the overall visit, making it a memorable & worthwhile adventure for bagel enthusiasts.Voir plus
What a wonderful Montreal experience! Piles of floor bags, fresh dough being made, & freshly baked in a fire oven. 🔥. Picked up a dozen Montreal style bagels on the way to the airport! You need to check this out when in Montreal.Voir plus
Love it. Simple storefront, feels like it hasn't changed since the location was opened. I like the idea of the unholy bagle... So grabbed 6 to try with burgers. True, not a Bagle... But it is the same ingredients & easiest to sandwich with.Voir plus
The best authentic Montreal bagels. One will always find fresh & warm, sometimes piping hot bagels right out of the wood burning oven. Whether for breakfast, lunch always a tasty treat to have. The staff is ever so friendly too.Voir plus
The best. Always pop in when visiting Montreal. My two favs are the sesame & the rosemaryVoir plus
A true delight. Was incredible. Had poppyseed & cranberry bagel with cream cheese. 10/10. Never had one like this before. *drooling sounds*Voir plus
I was really disappointed on my recent visit. I have made it a ritual to stop by this store every time I visit Montreal. However, during this visit, I was dismayed to discover that the bagels I purchased were stale. It was a letdown, especially since I had planned to make bagel sandwiches for the road upon reaching the hotel. Unfortunately, I had to discard them all. Quite disappointing.
I see so many sheeps waiting in line, & yet, no one knows that there's another St-Viateur bagel a couple of blocks away at 158, rue St-Viateur O. In & out. In USD, these bagels cost around 10 dollars. In CAD, it cost close to 14 dollars.Voir plus
