Piles of floor bags, fresh dough being made, & freshly baked in a fire oven. 🔥. Picked up a dozen Montreal style bagels on the way to the airport! You need to check this out when in Montreal.View more
Love it. Simple storefront, feels like it hasn't changed since the location was opened. I like the idea of the unholy bagle... So grabbed 6 to try with burgers. True, not a Bagle... But it is the same ingredients & easiest to sandwich with.View more
The best authentic Montreal bagels. One will always find fresh & warm, sometimes piping hot bagels right out of the wood burning oven. Whether for breakfast, lunch always a tasty treat to have. The staff is ever so friendly too.View more
The best. Always pop in when visiting Montreal. My two favs are the sesame & the rosemaryView more
A true delight. Was incredible. Had poppyseed & cranberry bagel with cream cheese. 10/10. Never had one like this before. *drooling sounds*View more
I was really disappointed on my recent visit. I have made it a ritual to stop by this store every time I visit Montreal. However, during this visit, I was dismayed to discover that the bagels I purchased were stale. It was a letdown, especially since I had planned to make bagel sandwiches for the road upon reaching the hotel. Unfortunately, I had to discard them all. Quite disappointing.View more
De très bons bagels mais peut être un peu trop surcôté. Une autre bonne enseigne non loin est tout aussi excellente (Fairmount pour ne pas le citer). Je vous recommande de tester les deux & de vous faire votre propre avis.View more
Bon & même très bon en qui concerne le Bagel au caramel. Mais pour le reste pas besoin d'en faire tout un foin. On apprécie les prix démocratiques tout de même.View more
I see so many sheeps waiting in line, & yet, no one knows that there's another St-Viateur bagel a couple of blocks away at 158, rue St-Viateur O. In & out. In USD, these bagels cost around 10 dollars. In CAD, it cost close to 14 dollars.View more
Quaint & apparently the best bagels in Montreal. We stoud in line for about 20mins on Sunday so not that badView more
C'est si bon, chaud, moelleux!!! Avec du fromage frais & du saumon....un délice!View more
The Bagels are OK, I've had better but I did like how they were fresh & warm. If you want creamcheese you have to buy separately. Price is reasonable but they only accept cash.View more
Best hot seasame bagel! Bagel is cheap & taste absolutely delicious when it is hot. Quick service! Good place to visit if you are a Bagel fan.View more
You can find a wide variety of fresh bagels, both sweet & savory. There are always a lot of people but it's okayView more

St-Viateur Bagel is an iconic & beloved bagel bakery located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It's one of the oldest & most renowned bagel shops in the city. It's a symbol of Montreal's rich & diverse food scene. Best bagel here is the traditional sesame seed bagel that I had & it is the most popular too. St-Viateur offers a variety of flavors including poppy seed, whole wheat, cinnamon raisin, & more. They also have specialty options like rosemary sea salt & multigrain. This is an integral part of Montreal's culinary landscape, known for producing some of the best bagels in the world. It's a must-visit destination for bagel enthusiasts & food lovers alike.View more
