I usually go there & get good service & the food that I want. Today, when I went, I asked for the chicken avocado salad. I received my salad to go without any chicken. We had paid 24$ for a chicken avo salad BUT THEY FORGOT THE CHICKEN 😭😭

First time trying spirulina, & it was actually really good! I created my own salad, & the portion was super generous. My friend ordered the avocado toast, which I found a bit underwhelming both in presentation & portion size. It was basically just avocado on toast with small pieces of bread, & I think it could feel much more satisfying with a more creative presentation & slightly more generous toppings. There are definitely more interesting options on the menu. Overall though, it was a great experience.
One suggestion I'd give would be to make better use of the terrace during the summer. Adding some flowers or decorations could make the outdoor space feel much more inviting & enjoyable.
Je suis une fan de matcha, & vraiment c'est pas buvable, leur banana bread goute juste le sirop de banane, aucun gout de matcha & pleins de glace :(. La serveuse en avant à été super rude & le matcha horrible, d'habitude je suis super bien acceuilli. Ma soeur est venu me rejoindre & prendre une salade a 16:36 & elle lui a refuser sa salade elle voulait surement finir plus vite. Plus jamais vraiment innaceptable… je suis decu j'adorais ce café.
Got Le Thon toast, looked amazing, bread is crunchy & tasty, avocado is perfect, bit tuna salad is just a disaster, super sour & no any other taste can be filled. In addition to this three persons who ordered food after me got there orders while I was still waiting.
I ordered chicken quinoa soup, offered with a piece of delicious sourdough, it's my favourite! I enjoyed the salad, I ordered Santorini salad (Combo size) with red cabbage mixed, also my favourite! Followed by banana peanut butter chocolate chip muffin, excellent, very moist & it comes warmed every time. I had the date & cream matcha, with almond milk, for the first time & I'm over joyed at the flavour profile, nostalgic, I loved it!

Their new location is definitely an upgrade! Theres more space for seating & more items but we went during peak hours so it was kinda hard to grab a seat but we managed thankfully! Got their avocado toast with honey walnuts & cheese & the other with an egg salad. Both were good but would definitely recommend the egg salad. Got their matcha with the coconut foam & it was really good! Also tried their banana bread matcha & the earl grey matcha. The earl grey was just a tad bit too sweet for me but very good nonetheless & the texture banana bread syrup kinda threw me off but it was still a good matcha latte.
I've loved Spirulina Cafés for years & have always had great experiences at other locations, which is why this visit was so disappointing.
I placed a pickup order at 11:50, & only received it at 12:20, meaning I waited about 20 minutes past the pickup time. At one point, there was even confusion about my order being cancelled, which may have caused a small delay - but even taking that into account, the wait felt excessive for a simple smoothie & a salad that is usually pre-prepared. Knowing this cafe in its other locations, I know it is not normal. Because of this delay, I ended up missing an appointment.
What was especially frustrating is that customers who ordered at the counter after me were served almost immediately, while my prepaid pickup order seemed to be overlooked. For a café meant to be convenient & efficient for people grabbing something quickly, this really defeats the purpose of ordering ahead.
That said, I genuinely felt for the staff - they seemed very understaffed & overwhelmed, & it didn't look like they were set up to handle rushes properly. I want to highlight Creation, who was very kind, helpful, & professional despite the situation. Unfortunately, the experience at the cash felt less helpful overall, even considering how busy it was.
It's just unfortunate because this location is so well-situated & has the potential to be a great grab-&-go spot, but if service continues to be this slow, it becomes impractical to stop by.
I really hope this location improves its organization & pickup order process, because Spirulina has always been a go-to for me, & I'd love to see this location meet the same standard as the others.
