I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews because I know it can affect a business, but I had heard sooo many people say Spirulina's matcha was really good so I wanted to try it for myself.

I tried the date, banana, Earl Grey & the regular matcha with no syrup, & honestly the main thing I could taste in all of them was milk. The banana was probably the one I liked the most, but I really didn't like the date one, it mostly just tasted like spices to me.

I usually drink my matcha without syrup so I'm used to actually tasting the matcha itself, but even the regular one just tasted super milky & I could barely taste the matcha.

Maybe it's just personal preference, but with everything I had heard about this place I was definitely expecting more

Paid $16 for a smoothie with an ingredient that is called'almond beverage'….. I asked what'almond beverage' was, ends up it's a Kirkland beverage filled with gums, natural flavours etc…. If you're marketing yourself as a health food place & charging $16 for a smoothie, you should be using pure almond milk!
