Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Food & service is excellent. One of the more affordable per portion places we have eaten at since being here. The chicken filet plate was extremely good & I would recommend this establishment to any of the people who travel in the area.

First time visiting a Souvlaki Bar. Our server, Alina was amazing & helped explain menu items to us. We were here late so not many patrons were still here.
We ordered the chicken stick plate, a pita wrap & the Greek meatball plate. I butchered the names of our meals sorry. The portions & food was great. We truly enjoyed a nice hot meal on a cold night. We highly recommend. All the staff were very courteous. It seemed like we were greeted & bid farewell by 3 employees upon entrance & exit.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the grilled chicken breast, which was cooked perfectly & full of flavor. The portions were huge & very generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. The service was great-everyone was friendly & attentive
The staff is super friendly & the atmosphere in the restaurant is great.
I like the food & I would recommend getting the chicken.
One thing to note is that they have blue lights that make it difficult to see.

This place is amazing! We came from toronto & everytime we come to montreal we visit here. The food was absolutely delicious, & the customer service was top-notch. The atmosphere had such a nice vibe-it's perfect for any occasion. Ordered chicken pita & veggie pita. Fries were very crispy.It was amazing.I highly recommend visiting this spot. You won't regret it! A must-visit! Let me know if you'd like to tweak it further!
A very large & nice restaurant with great service & hospitality ! We walked in without any reservations & were seated quickly. My partner had the special of the day Filet Mignon brochette while I had the Chicken Filet with lamb chops on the side & it was very delicious 😊 The portion size is great & every bite is a gourmet's delight ❤️ For dessert we shared the baklava & it was so good 😊 Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 restaurant & try other items on the menu ❤️

A perfect example of choosing to do less but doing everything you chose to do really well. The food here is classic Montreal Greek food. A tight classic Greek menu where everything on it is fresh & tasty. My favourite is the chicken Souvlaki Bar garden salad. The salad dressing is WOW & one of a kind. Love the Greek potatoes & the lamb chops. Service is as good as the food. These guys know how to run a restaurant.
Found the Souvlaki Bar while in Montreal for the Canadian F1 Grand Prix. The restaurant is very lively & can accommodate large parties. The host that greeted us was very friendly & welcoming. Our server was attentive & fast! The star of the menu is the baked chicken, really good! The meat shovel also looked good but we didn't order it. I chose the chicken souvlaki & found the chicken unfortunately dry. If you're in Montreal & are looking for a real Greek experience, go to Souvlaki Bar!
When we first walked in, we were asked if we had a reservation by a pleasant hostess & seated right away, although we had no reservation. The table we sat at looked like it previously had a gkass of water on it that wasn't wioed away, which gave me the impression the table either wasn't clean or wasn't properly clean prior to us being seated. We ordered the calamari, which was a a disappointment it lacked flavor & & the fired texture was flat, not crisp. The 2 sauces the calamari came with tasted like no personality what so ever simply void of any good flavor. I ordered tge poate with 2 skewered chicken tge salaad once agakn the dressing was well lacking in flavor but fhe salad itself was fresh & crisp. The chicken, however, was delicious, full of flavor cooked perfectly. The service was good the waiter George was attentive & served us with a pleasant disposition. All the staff we encountered was very respectful & professional but their sauces need help.
Our first visit to a 'Souvlaki Bar' franchise, & extremely glad we chose the Ville Saint -Laurent location as a benchmark.
The place was packed & 'hopping' on a snowy Friday evening. Had a great window booth, watching the 'Christmas' view. (almost April as I write this review). The ambiance is bright & alive, lighting is a festive/modern/traditional fusion that works both aethetically & practically. The food is quite frankly another fusion of quality & taste. I ordered the 'Club Pita', this is'nt your daddy's 'club sandwich' (even if he WAS Greek)...lol. Every component is quality & taste. From the chicken to the perfectly prepared bacon strips & everything in between, a real instant 'Go to' plate. The service was Inviting, attentive & appreciative.... how could you not return?
