We are fresh
Reviews for Souvlaki Bar describe generous portions, fresh and flavorful Greek inspired dishes, and friendly, attentive service that many find welcoming and efficient. Diners frequently highlight the meat shovels, souvlaki plates, gyro options, calamari, and large salads as standout options, with prices considered a solid value given portion sizes. The atmosphere is described as cozy and family friendly, though it can be busy on weekends and peak hours, leading to longer waits for certain courses or drinks. Takeout is praised as well, matching dine in quality for many, while a few comments note inconsistencies in flavor or texture, including a dry shaved meat, underseasoned dressing, and in one case overcooked chicken. A few diners also mentioned slow drink service but quick plate delivery once orders were placed, and a small cleanliness concern with high chairs. Overall Souvlaki Bar emerges as a reliable, satisfying option for hearty Greek meals with generous portions, strong service, and a lively vibe, with most experiences leaving diners planning a return visit.
J'y retournerais.
One of our go to places at Dix30. Consistently good, portions are generous & the service is great. Good bang for buck. Our child is obsessed with the calamari there!
Went the other day. They charged us the 3$ sharing fee, just because I walked in with my friend for his to go order... make it make sense Even if someone was eating at the restaurant, it wouldnt make any sense. Server at the front was extreamly rude, no hello, thank you, have a good day. It was a young girl, blond or brunnette I forgot. Anyways, for the price, the food was okay.
Great food & atmosphere! Our waitress was very nice, however she did not come into the dining area to check in much at all so we were left with empty cups for the majority of our meal.
We came to this restaurant on a chill winter for lunch. The restaurant looked clean & bright. We got seated pretty fast, & then we ordered a couple of dishes to share. The fried calamari was somewhat mediocre, the batter was thin but the calamari itself wasn't that fresh, I can immediately tell it was frozen for a bit too long. The portion for each dish ( or bowl) was decent. We got the grilled pork, which is my favorite & grilled chicken, along with some signature house salad. If you are nearby, looking for some quick bite but doesn't want to go to the fast food court, this is a good choice 😉
