We asked for a starter & a plate, the calamari rings & the half chicken plate. The calamari rings were extremely chewy, & it felt like having some kind of rubber. The chicken plate was a bit better, yet the potatoes were over-spiced & overcooked that you could not hold it with the fork. The chicken taste was bland & did not have anything special. First time there & quite disappointed. I don't think I will eat there again. The souvlaki pita was dry & the pita had pronounced uncook floor taste. Chicken was super dry. The octopus was a total miss & simply not good. This is not how to cook octopus!View more

Strongly recommend this Souvlaki Bar! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great & the price was very fair. I took the Chicken Gyro Bowl - it was delicious & very filling! I was always hesitant to try Souvlaki Bar restaurants. But now I am planning to becoming a regular :) EDIT: We went last week, & we were served by the best waitress we have ever encountered anywhere! A nice, service is agreeable & fast. Ordered the sesame grilled feta cheese. Very nice. Then the gyro chicken pork & louktnos for two. With extra pita... The plate is way too much for two, i think they would be better served by adding some condiments like lettuce, tomato & cucumber to make the experience better. The food is way way too seasoned almost too salty... So a bit of veggies would tone down the saltiness of the whole meal.. But will go back..View more

First time in Dix30 but not first time in a souvlaki bar. Went on a tuesday & I was very surprised at how full the restaurant was. Because the restaurant was busy, the service was lacking a bit. I tried a chicken souvlaki sandwich with rice, potatoes & a greek salad. The rice was meh but the rest was delicious! The restaurant decoration is also nice. Parking available.View more

Had the souvlaki pita plate. Everything was good. Their french fries are exceptionally good. Had this same meal at their location in Blainville get, & the fries there were also exceptionally good. Prices are very reasonable considering how much food you get, especially in comparison to other restaurants. My friend had the lentil soup & the chicken gyro bowl, both of which she said were excellent. Have eaten at various Souvlaki Bar locations. They were all good. Will definitely continue to eat there.View more

We first tried this resto in st jean sur richelieu & loved it. realizing there was one closer to us in Dix30 we were so happy & had to make our second visit. Souvlaki Bar didn't disappoint. The service & food was on par & great. We ordered the 2 stick chicken souvlaki, Greek salad & the club souvlaki pita. so good. ! def recommended.View more

We came to this restaurant on a chill winter for lunch. The restaurant looked clean & bright. We got seated pretty fast, & then we ordered a couple of dishes to share. The fried calamari was somewhat mediocre, the batter was thin but the calamari itself wasn't that fresh, I can immediately tell it was frozen for a bit too long. The portion for each dish ( or bowl) was decent. We got the grilled pork, which is my favorite & grilled chicken, along with some signature house salad. If you are nearby, looking for some quick bite but doesn't want to go to the fast food court, this is a good choice 😉View more

We had dinner here one night. Ordered a large salad, plate of mini gyros, & one additional larger gyro. The salad was delicious & amazing!!! But the meat in the gyros was gristly & hard. The chicken gyro was definitely better than the pork gyro. Great service though!View more
