J'ai appelé afin de réserver une table pour un groupe de 7 personnes. Lors de l'échange, la personne au téléphone s'est montrée assez pressante, en précisant que si nous arrivions à 19h30, nous n'aurions qu'une heure pour manger, car le restaurant ferme à 21h précises.
De plus, il nous a été indiqué qu'un pourboire minimum de 18 % est automatiquement appliqué pour les groupes, ce qui donne l'impression d'être'taxé' avant même d'avoir consommé.
Ces éléments nous ont refroidis, & nous avons finalement décidé de ne pas nous y rendre. L'accueil téléphonique laisse à désirer.
One year ago, I gave Souvlaki Bar 5 stars. This is (was) our go-to resto, & their Souvlaki Bar salad with chicken was my absolute favorite - fresh, delicious, & generous chunks of chicken cooked perfectly. Today after deciding to order from Uber, I'm left feeling sick to my stomach (literally) & highly disappointed with what they called'chicken'. Thirty percent of my dish was not chicken at all, but skin. See photo for comparison of skin vs. chicken. Salad without dressing isn't supposed to be leave puddles of orange grease behind. I really hope this was a one-off, I'd hate to hate our favorite restaurant.

C'était bon, le service excellent rien à dire la dessus. Le prix est cher pour ce qu'on a commandé & tout est chargé en extra, comme la sauce tatziki qui devrait être incluse dans les plats ……..
Bon service en générale. Toutefois il faut faire attention, si vous êtes 7 personnes & plus, vous devez payer 18% de tips. Personne ne nous a mis au courant lors de la réservation par téléphone. De plus, il n'y avait plus de mini pitas.

I'll start by saying that we tried making a reservation but we were told to just show up. Glad we went early because there was a lineup. You can only stay for 1.5 hours (which is plenty of time).
I didn't like where we were seated because everyone standing at the entrance waiting to be seated watches you eat & it is truly uncomfortable.
That said, the food was incredible. The service was perfect & our overall thoughts of Souvlaki Bar is that we will be back. This is our new go to spot for sure!
The food was not good at all. The chicken was not fresh, & the sour cream in the tzakski tasted funny in the chicken pita. The potatos were dark, like old & not edible at all. The rice was clumpy, like fresh & old rice combined. I was very disappointed compared to the previous time in the summer, it was very good! The waitress was very pleasant & helpful. Exchanged the pita souvlaki with tzakski to one without. It was a Tuesday dinner. Will not be returning there again.
On s'est présentés là en couple un vendredi soir, sans réservation avant d'aller faire une activité & il y avait quelques places disponibles.
Nous avons vite été assignés à une table & quelques minutes plus tard, nous partagions'La pelletée de viande B', un repas pour deux, accompagné de pain Naan & de patates grecques. Nous avons bien mangé & à un budget fort raisonnable d'environ 25 $ par personne. J'aurais peut-être pris un peu de musique sur place pour ajouter à l'ambiance, mais ça demeure un endroit très recommandable :)
Le service est excellent, nous recevons nos assiettes très rapidement. Les portions sont généreuses & la nourriture est fraîche & savoureuse. Nous avons vécu une très belle expérience.
Everything was perfect. The amount of food you get for the price is incredible. It was all very fresh. The service was wonderful from the moment we walked in. Our server was very kind. Overall, a fantastic experience. This was our 1st time trying this restaurant & we will absolutely be back.
