This restaurant has, in opinion, one of the best chicken souvlaki pita sandwich & fries. Their toppings are fresh, generous & tasty. However, I cannot say the same for their plates. Our Rice had barely any flavour, & the fries that came with it were soggy & not well fried. Further, the pekillia plate, we ordered, was even more disappointing. It contained the regular three dips-these were very flavourful- & a great bunch of cucumber, cherry tomatoes & olives. The dish was so unproportioned that a veggie plate from a grocery, add the sauces, a few morsels of spanikopita, dolmas & prefried zucchinis would have done the trick. So here, I cannot say that the food plates left me recommending them. However, if you are in the mood for a simple pita souvlaki go for it. This is their specialty. As for the rest of their plates & appetizers I cannot say the same. Please note that this is only in my opinion after having tried other Greek eateries.

If youre looking for quality fresh authentic souvlaki that does not water down their tzatziki & knows what an actual soublaki is supposed to taste like i highly reccomend that you order from Authentique Souvlaki. I order regualry from them & i promise you that you will not be disapointed. I always order chicken pita & its fantastic. Very highly recommended.

Great Souvlaki experience!

Appetizer: Trio Dip, all very fresh & tasty. Comes with pita bread.

Main: Assiette traditional Gyro. Gyro tastes great, comes with large portion of rice. Potatoes are really good. Also comes with a salad which had a great dressing.

Service was very good.

This Greek restaurant was amazing beautiful ambiance, really friendly service, & the food was so good I forgot to take a picture of my plate! I ordered the gyro plate (assiette gyro) & it was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh & flavorful. I'm already thinking about going back. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place & I was genuinely impressed. We ordered the chicken gyro pitas for lunch - super fresh, well-seasoned, & flavourful. I'm very picky when it comes to souvlaki, & this hit the mark. Generous portions for the price, too.

The owner is a fantastic person with a staff who are taken care of & appreciated, from my perspective that makes all the difference when the meal arrives at your table. Everything on my plate was fresh & tasty. I ate a chicken souvlaki with shredded chicken & rice as well as salad & that lemon sauce on the potatoes really tied everything together. Although I didn't have any coffee I did have a piece of cheesecake which I enjoyed thoroughly. The restaurant is spotless & very well taken care of, saying the restaurant is clean is an understatement. There is a little market to purchase items in the restaurant, as well as a serious looking coffee bar & although I don't drink coffee this place seemed to have everything in stock. If you're in Lachine & you need a guaranteed home run, I will personally never think twice about stopping at this place 💯🔥
