I was looking for macarons & Google said this store was the closest option near me. However, they don't sell macarons, so that was disappointing. Ended up getting some croissants & tarts anyway & they were good. The girls at the counter were super sweet & friendly.
Tried the Crookie & the almond croissant.. Both are out of this world. I'm not vegan nor really a dessert or pastry lover, but, wow. Light & airy with amazing flavor. The balance between a warm chocolate chunk cookie & a croissant is done with perfection. I'm planning on trying to bring some of these on the flight home to Portland, OR for my family.. they are that good!
Had a strawberry kiwi iced tea with raspberry syrup & it was one of the best iced teas I've ever had!! Also had a plain croissant which was really good. The staff were also all super friendly, couldn't recommend more!
had such a lovely welcome from the staff & they were very accommodating & helpful in explaining all of the options! we tried the breakfast sandwich, almond croissant, the plain croissant & two drinks & they were all incredible! i love that everything was made in house as well! couldn't recommend more if you are in the area! :)
We loved this place so much that we had to come back a second time before heading home to the U.S. The breakfast sandwich with pickles had the perfect balance of textures & flavors, the lemon bars were light & tangy, & the almond croissant was fluffy & sweet. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone, vegan or not! Keep in mind there is a not a seating area, but we were able to sit on a bench right outside the shop to enjoy our goodies.

I'm obsessed!! I'm not vegan nor am I gluten intolerant, but Sophie Sucree is still my bakery of choice! My colleagues & I order the surprise boxes from Sophie Sucree at least once a week, it's such a good deal & it's so fun to see what we'll get! Their almond croissant in particular are out of this world. You would never know it's vegan. & their brownie with ganache is to die for as well. I've never been to the bakery in person but I hope to pop by one day :) Thanks Sophie Sucree!
Wow ! Je suis très surpris, j'ai trouvé le croissant biscuit délicieux, un bel assemblée de saveur & surtout de texture, on a le croissant moelleux & léger qui contient une garniture décadente & un topping de pâte à biscuit parfaitement cuite. Rien n'aurait pu me laisser croire que c'est vegan, le goût & la texture me semblaient tellement authentiques! C'est surprenant! J'ai aussi pris une brioche aux amandes & un gâteau aux carottes pour la route & ils étaient tout aussi délectables.
I just got a croissant! Wow!! It's a large sized & the texture is just so... fluffly layered. Amazing! I read the reviews about the price, but seriously it has become the norm at any coffee shop. I would come to sweet Sophie anytime over a Starbucks.
Meilleur pâtisserie végane de Montréal! Je commande de 1 à 2 fois par semaine, le chocolat chaud framboise & le croissant aux amandes sont des incontournables.
Almond croissant is the bomb! P.S. please don't go cheaper by using cheaper ingredients, it now seems like you make high quality products. & it's getting really hard to eat out because of folks complaining about prices which forces a lot of cafes & restaurants to use lower grade ingredients to meet people's prices expectations.
Was there to pick up a cake but could not resist picking up an almond croissant while I waited for my order. It was delicious! Probably one of the best almond croissants I've ever tasted. The service was simply amazing. I was greeted & served by two very lovely & sweet attendants. Will definitely pay them a visit again.
I don't post a lot of review but I had to for this patisserie !!! One of the best vegan patisserie in Montreal (you should taste it even tho you ain't vegan, you won't regret it), everything is tasty (kudos to the Cherry cheesecake), original & homemade, a good presentation & the service is always extra. I also love LOVE the shop atmosphere (so cute & welcoming) & when I don't feel like going out I order something from them & I'm never disappointed plus impeccable packaging (eco friendly). Thank you so much for your amazing work Sophie Sucrée !!! Mention spéciale: THE VEGAN ALMOND CROISSANT..... please never stop baking it !!!! Lots of love !!

Bonjour, Je donne rarement mon avis sur les réseaux. Cependant, je me devais de vous dire votre croissant à la pistache est excellent ! Je travaille en boulangerie depuis longtemps & je n'avais pas trouver un si bon produit qui répond à mes restrictions alimentaires !
Sophie's is a great bakery. We haven't had croissants in years, & were thrilled to find this bakery. The food was delicious & filling. We will definitely come back next time we visit Montréal
Delicious, all-vegan pastry shop.

* salted caramel cheesecake - very good
* spinach pastry - very good,
* banana bread - pretty good.
* apple spice cake - great
* Cranberry almond scone - very good
* brownie - a bit lacking
* chocolate chip cookie - just okay
* onion & pepper pizza from the day old shelf - pretty good.
They'll heat it up the savory foods for you, & they had a shelf of cheaper day-old items.
Overall very impressed & will be taking others back.
Uses red path sugar, which is not refined with animal bone char!
