Excellent experience at Solomos Queen Mary. Andy & his colleague were genuinely welcoming, friendly, & attentive from the moment I arrived. I ordered the smoked salmon with capers, & it was outstanding. Fresh, perfectly prepared, & easily some of the best smoked salmon you can find anywhere. The warmth & professionalism of the team made the visit even better. Wishing Andy & the entire team a Happy New Year & continued success. Anyone considering this place can expect exceptional products & truly great service!

This is the best salmon in all of Montreal!! But please 🙏🏻 they need to learn how to slice it, I've traveled all over Europe... & I've never seen anything like it, A disaster ! One small slice, then a tiny one, then a huge one, & one round, then one square, showed it to a chef & he was laughing his head off... How can you butcher such a beautiful product like that ?

Listen, the staff could be friendlier (we were the only ones there, & visiting for the first time - so we had some questions & were looking for some recommendations which the man helping us was a bit short about when answering lol), but they offer one of the best smoked salmon bagels I have ever had. Truly delicious, Will be thinking of it for months to come…

Went for the first time today after searching for a quick lunch. AMAZING smoked salmon sandwiches. We also picked up a taramosolata, & it is by far the best best I've had in the city. Highly suggest checking this place out & it will definitely become a regular spot for us!

This place has hands down the best smoked salmon & my style bagels in town-absolutely fresh, flavorful, & perfectly prepared. It's my go-to spot for an unbeatable breakfast.
However, the service doesn't quite match the quality of the food. The staff is efficient, but they lack warmth & friendliness. A smile or a little more enthusiasm would go a long way in enhancing the experience.
If you're here for the food, you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect much in terms of a warm welcome!

Solomos has a beautiful variety of smoked salmon. They sell high end products that are always fresh & tasty. I particularly love their feta cheese. They are very efficient at serving their customers but they are very unfriendly. A little smile or a nice exchange of words would go a long way.
