My wife & I recently visited to sample what was said to be; "...one of Montreal's best seafood restaurants". Here is our experience;

Once our waiter delivered our plates, & poured our first glass of wine, all his attention went to another table near us, after which he began attending to empty tables (straightening cutlery, fluffing napkins, etc) essentially doing anything he could to stay away from our table completely ignoring us for the rest of the evening. He never asked us how our meals were, never filled our wine glasses again, never asked if we would like dessert or coffee or bothered with us in any way. I had to ask another waiter just to get our bill so we could leave.

My wife's plate was nothing more than fried pasta in meat sauce, (like what you do at home with leftovers). After sampling it myself, I could well understand why her appetite was cut for anything else. I ordered the the salmon that arrived undercooked, french fries that were also undercooked & a selection of 'grilled vegetables' that were dried out rubber 'plate decoration/filler' void of any taste at all. We both hated our meals. If the waiter had bothered to return I would have returned our plates. I asked one of the bus boys to bring me some butter so I could introduce some flavour to my vegetables, unfortunately by the time it arrived the grilled veggies were ice cold slabs of rubber.

Overpriced, below par meals combined with unattentive (borderline contemptuous) service, left us both feeling 'unwelcomed'. We actually couldn't wait to get our bill just so we could get out of there.

There are so many seafood restaurants in Montreal that are twice as good for half the price.... definitely will not return to pay to be insulted.
