Menu was all in French, English menu price was covered, not many pictures make me feel difficult to order, the food looks nice taste really good, nice place for people want to taste sushi, but not eat too much, unwinding hanging out nights.

Après 20 ans de loyaux services d'un autre resto sushis, on décide d'essayer Sogen pour mon anniversaire hier en pick up. À l'arrivée de mon conjoint, le gérant ou proprio "varge" dans la porte pour que l'employée vienne lui répondre. La commande est sur le comptoir devant lui. Les sushis sont mal roulés & le riz est sec. Dragon eye médiocres & la sauce aussi. J'ai l'impression qu'on me fabrique un plateau avec des restes de la veille & le dragon eye avec un vieux poisson qui sentait & pas frais. Jamais plus. Bon anniversaire 😉
The atmosphere is definitely the aspect that I loved the most when dining here. The spacious couches/ chairs & the good distance between the tables really makes you feel more comfortable & less cramped in the restaurant. The service was delightful, while maintaining her professionalism, the waitress was polite & friendly. I do feel like it did take quite a long time before we managed to order our food but the restaurant was quite busy so it is understandable. I really enjoyed their edamame soup. It'e such a innovative concept to me, I never a soup like this before but I was a bit disappointed because I couldn't really taste any edamame. But still, the soup was creamy & tasted great. As for the sashimi combo that I had, I really enjoyed the freshness of the fish & the size of the slices. The presentation was also magnificent. For 45$ the combo though, I do feel like the platter of sashimi was a bit underwhelming. The cuts were quite basic & even though I like the presentation, most of the stuff on it was not really adding anything to the flavours. The radish was also a bit bitter which made the overall less enjoyable. I would have loved to see some fancier ingredients such as fatty tuna or scallops, especially for the prices they charge for 16 pieces of sashimi.
I had an unforgettable dining experience at this sushi restaurant! The romantic ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening, with cozy tables that felt intimate yet welcoming. The staff were absolutely delightful-not intrusive, but always there just when needed, creating a seamless & enjoyable experience. & the food was simply outstanding! Each dish was beautifully presented & tasted as amazing as it looked. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional sushi & a charming atmosphere.
J'ai été très déçue lors de ma dernière visite. Les sushis n'étaient pas aussi bons qu'ils l'ont déjà été. L'ambiance ressemblait à celle de la Cage aux Sports, malheureusement, puisque le staff était affairé à suivre une game d'hockey, en faisant les cris qui viennent avec. Par le fait même, le service était au ralenti, nous avons attendu 10-15 minutes pour commander un dessert. Ce n'est malheureusement pas l'expérience que je recherchais. Dernièrement, sérieusement, en 2024, des petits tabourets bistro, ça ne se peut pas. C'est ce qui m'a le plus dérangé. J'étais accompagnée d'une personne ronde & franchement, ne pas être confortablement assis c'est le comble pour un restaurant. Elle a dû alterner entre manger debout & assise pour permettre un repos à ses jambes. C'est impensable qu'une telle décision ait été prise consciemment. J'allais mettre un 3, mais pour cette raison, je mets un 2.

The place looks gorgeous & the food was amazing. Service was courteous & extremely polite. Very friendly server with great care to details. Even though the place was packed & very busy, the experience was still exquisite. Price is up to par with most restaurants of this quality, even cheaper than most of lower grade. We will go back for sure.
L'ambiance de ce restaurant est très sympa ! Très approprié pour les couples à ce jour. Les serveurs sont très enthousiastes & beaux😜. Mais je suis presque sûr que le Hosomaki d'avocat que j'ai commandé n'était pas fraîchement préparé. J'ai également commandé d'autres plats...tous moyens.
Best sushi & seafood restaurant in town, we were served by Lina, very professional, present & attentive to details. they also have a great choice of local wines
Nous avons pris le menu dégustation & c'etait incroyablement bon! Un gros merci à notre serveur Davis pour son excellent service. Nous y retournerons assurément
