De retour une fois de plus. Toujours aussi spectaculaire! La présentation est exquise. Nous avons récemment découvert Sogen. Quelle magnifique trouvaille. Le décor est sympathique & le service est excellent. Mais ce qui retient l'attention c'est la fraîcheur & la saveur qu'on retrouve dans l'assiette & surtout la beauté de la présentation des plats. Des délices! Du grand art. L'essayer c'est l'adopter. Vous ne serez pas déçu. J'ai été particulièrement séduit par l'assiette de Sashimis en table d'hôte avec choix de soupe ou salade. Tellement frais, tellement délicieux & tellement beau. Bravo!
We've been clients to Sogen for the past 4 years. 2 weeks ago we went the food was not good & the waiter had an attitude. We thought it was not our lucky day but yesterday it was a next level.
1. The miso soup was cold - we asked for hot one but it came back cold (in less than a minute).
2. The sogen chicken (sweet & spicy), the sauce was cold that the meat was like a jelly.
3. We asked for 2 edmamae but served one only (we were charged for 1 only)
4. The tzatziki dish was super dirty, the waiter has to wipe the bottom of the plate 3 times.
5. The service was very slow, we wanted to order dessert but the waiter was busy & other 3 waiters kept getting in & out looking at the tables & didn't bother to check in.
L'entrée chaud du crape molle frit & la soupe edamame étais wowwww, les sushis étais délicieux , je vous suggère fortement les spécialités sushis, la serveuse étais attentive & gentille , j'ai pas pu demander sont nom pour mettre sur l'avis mais elle travail le dimanche soir , elle faisait les drinks aussi! Je vais y retourner c'est sur pour gouter d'autre plats!
Super restaurant, excellente nourriture, service impeccable & attentif. Nous sommes allées souper pour fêter deux anniversaires. En arrivant, notre réservation était pour une table avec des chaises tabourets. Le personnel a tout de suite remarqué que la grand-maman n'était pas sûre des tabourets, ils nous ont déplacées à une banquette pour nous accommoder. La serveuse a aussi remarqué les cadeaux & nous a offert un dessert de fête. Merci pour tout, nous avons adoré notre expérience & nous y retournerons certainement!
The atmosphere is definitely the aspect that I loved the most when dining here. The spacious couches/ chairs & the good distance between the tables really makes you feel more comfortable & less cramped in the restaurant. The service was delightful, while maintaining her professionalism, the waitress was polite & friendly. I do feel like it did take quite a long time before we managed to order our food but the restaurant was quite busy so it is understandable. I really enjoyed their edamame soup. It'e such a innovative concept to me, I never a soup like this before but I was a bit disappointed because I couldn't really taste any edamame. But still, the soup was creamy & tasted great. As for the sashimi combo that I had, I really enjoyed the freshness of the fish & the size of the slices. The presentation was also magnificent. For 45$ the combo though, I do feel like the platter of sashimi was a bit underwhelming. The cuts were quite basic & even though I like the presentation, most of the stuff on it was not really adding anything to the flavours. The radish was also a bit bitter which made the overall less enjoyable. I would have loved to see some fancier ingredients such as fatty tuna or scallops, especially for the prices they charge for 16 pieces of sashimi.

pour souper samedi, service excellent, plat tre colore meme un peu trop, 2 bemol pourquoi noye sushi de sauce, ne pourrait on pas mettre a cote & table bistro collante? serveir nous dit que cest un probleme de vernis mais ca reste bizarre de vour nos assiettes qui reste collees ! tres belles experience.
Un souper entre amies, toutes d'accord les sushis & tataki de thon parmi les meilleurs jamais mangé! La présentation originale des plats, le goût, le service tout y est excellent.
Nice presentation of food but the food is way overpriced for the quality & the service took forever. Waited 40min to receive the appetizers & another 40 min for the main. We didn't even order something fancy. Just some salad & miso soup, & some basic rolls.
Nous avons appelé à 16h45 pour placer une commande à récupérer à 18h00. Arrivée sur place, j'ai dû attendre plus de 40 minutes pour la recevoir. Apparemment, ma commande a été remise à quelqu'un d'autre. C'est la deuxième fois que j'ai un problème avec une commande pour emporter. La première fois, il manquait un plat. Les soupes & les entrées chaudes qui étaient déposés sur le comptoir depuis plus de 30 minutes en attente des sushis n'ont pas été remplacés. La seule réponse à mon insatisfaction a été que la prochaine fois serait mieux. Service à la clientèle à revoir. Nous ne retournerons pas à ce restaurant.
Je suis aller a l’inauguration du resto & j'ai adorer ce resto, la décoration superbe, la nourriture exquise, bonne carte de vin, les employés & les propriétaires sont merveilleux, je vous recommande cette adresse, pour un 5 à 7, pour un souper romantique, en famille, ou avec des amis.
