J'ai commandé les crevettes sel & poivre & je n'ai vraiment pas été déçu! Les crevettes étaient parfaitement croustillantes à l'extérieur tout en restant bien juteuses à l'intérieur. L'assaisonnement sel & poivre était savoureux & équilibré, avec juste ce qu'il faut de goût. Les oignons apportaient une belle touche, & le riz était bien cuit, parfait pour accompagner le plat. Chaque bouchée était délicieuse. Une excellente assiette que je recommanderais sans hésiter. J'y retournerai avec plaisir!
I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, & it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender & juicy on the inside. The seasoning was well balanced, bringing out the natural flavor of the shrimp without being overpowering. The onions added a nice touch, & the steamed rice was the perfect side to complete the meal. Every bite was fresh & full of flavor. I highly recommend this dish & will definitely be coming back for it!
Love the chirashi rice bowl. A generous amount of seafood, everything was perfectly cooked & the service was friendly!
I had a pleasant lunch today. The restaurant wasn't super busy, & the waiter was super nice. The restaurant was super clean inside. They have a great selection of anything you'd expect from an Asian fusion/sushi restaurant. Both styles are done correctly. The General Tso was pretty good. The fried rice was ever so slightly dry. Nothing a little soy wouldn't help. I'd like to order for takeaway next time & get a fat sushi platter.
They always serve rice & today I got my meals with no rice & the woman on the phone claimed that the rice was discontinued 2 yrs ago while I was just there 2 weeks ago & I ordered 1 month ago.
Update 5 years later: We kept ordering sporadically from Soba, but unfortunately the quality has gone down over the years & the price has gone up. Our most recent take out order was for over 100$ worth of sushi & more than half of them were just filled with tempura batter & a a bit of fish. Recent picture added. Really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite spots. Pros: Very good quality sushi. Very reasonable prices. Offers many choices & meals other than sushi. Quick service. Offers delivery at no extra charge. Cons: The restaurant is a little small. We've never eaten physically in the restaurant & have always ordered our meals to go. The sushi is always fresh & they don't overkill it with rice, but find a good balance with the other ingredients. We will definitely be ordering here in the future as well.
