Siam is a consistently impressive Thai dining spot in downtown Montreal where vibrant, well balanced flavors meet generous portions, a stylish yet inviting ambiance, and attentive service. Reviewers praise the wide menu from green curry to pad Thai, dumplings and satay, noting fresh ingredients, colorful presentations and many vegan options. The service is repeatedly described as friendly, professional and helpful, with staff guiding choices and making celebrations feel special, while the terrace and warm lighting add to business meals and gatherings. While busier evenings can bring noise and occasional slower pacing, the overall experience is high quality, good value for the portions, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites return visits. The result is a top choice for Thai cuisine in the city, where guests leave looking forward to the next visit.
We had dinner here during our stay at the Warwick Hotel, drawn in by the excellent reviews-& it truly delivered. This was our first Thai fine dining experience in Montreal, & it exceeded expectations.
We ordered the Tom Kah Shrimp Soup, Fried Vegetable Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Rolled Printanier Sticky Toffe Mango rice, Chocolate Lava Cake & a Strawberry Mojito. Each dish was beautifully presented & full of vibrant flavors. The quality & attention to detail were clear in every bite.
Our server, Loi, was kind, professional, & made us feel very welcome. The menu is concise but well-curated, offering a thoughtful selection of dishes.
We'll definitely return on our next visit to Montreal!
I was hosting a Bridal Shower for my friend & thankfully Siam offered a private room. They were extremely accommodating with us bringing our decor, setting up, & bringing in little treats. The staff were extremely welcoming. Oliver was funny, kind & went above & beyond for us & the group. (As you can tell in the photo- He had the soon to be bride & guests laughing the entire time).
Not only that, the food was AMAZING. We had ordered from the set menu. Which was extremely worth it. I had gotten the Chicken Satay skewers (Super tender & flavourful) & the Green Beef Curry. (The amount of meat was generous which is usually rare for fancy places). Both of these dishes were amazing & I've had lots of Thai food.
Other than our room, the interior of the restaurant was beautiful & had a massive buddha statue, which I loveee.
I am from out of town, so hosting an event in another city is hard, but Siam made it extremely easy for me & I did not feel judged or pressured by the staff with the amount of decor we had.
It's been a while since I've had food that blew my mind. Siam is the best place to go if you love authentic yet elevated Thai food.
We had the duck wontons, khao soi & the Thai roasted chicken followed by the mango sticky rice for dessert. Each dish & element was unique & had levels of flavour.
Would definitely recommend this place for special occasions.
siam is not only a great restaurant with tasry for all food lovers it also has great customer care. Also doesnt break your bank account :) the spices & quality of food is just mind blowing, must go if you love Thai food.
Amazing Thai food, the best I've had! Love that we could walk from our hotel to Siam to the Bell Centre for a concert! & they were playing music by the artist we were about to see!!
Tried this place for the first time today & got served by Olivier & Julianne. The service was great & Olivier was hilarious. This is the best Khao Soy I've had outside of Thailand. Will be coming back to try much more of food as everything we tried was mind blowing

Visited Siam's for lunch on a Friday. Vibe & decor were amazing. Our server was attentive & enthusiastic which made the overall experience pleasant.
Food-wise I had better Thai food at other restaurants. Started off with the shrimp tom yum & beef satay which were good although I wish the satay came with peanut sauce instead of their homemade sriracha which tasted like the normal ones you can find at the supermarket.
For mains we had the cashew nut chicken with an upgrade to the vegetable fried rice, I loved this dish! The pad kee mao was okay & the rice noodles lacked the nice chewy texture, however it was loaded with beef & veggies. Portions are really good here!
I would return again to give some of their other dishes a try. They also have an extensive menu to choose from.
Siam has one of the most amazing dine in Thai experiences I have ever had. The restaurant contains both indoor & outdoor seating with a bar. The food was unexpectedly tasty & i could rate it the best places in Montreal to have Thai cuisine.
Food was too sweet; I have had better Thai food elsewhere. The service was lacking big time. We were given a time limit of 1 hour to eat our meal; however, when we were done quickly & wanted to leave, the server took forever to bring our check & make us pay. He also was not accommodating to other groups around us. The first & the last time that I will visit that place.

To qualify a bit, I am from Seattle. In Seattle Thai food is a staple, & it literally any place you go is excellent. In fact I eat it a few times a week! I was extremely surprised to find that this place exceeded the quality of the Thai spot around the corner from my apartment. It's actually the first time ever I've had better Thai food than what I normally experience in my day to day. Bonus points bc my bartender made outstanding old fashioneds with wild turkey. Don't miss this spot if you like Thai food.
Not fresh, tastes very bland for the price. About the same quality as Thai express, & i'm not exaggerating. Maybe I was there on a day where the chef wasn't the good one, because I don't understand how the restaurant has over 4 stars.
🌱 Vegan friendly 🌱 Très bon restaurant thaïlandais, la nourriture est excellente, belle carte pour les végétaliens. Notre serveur était très sympathique & proactif. Je recommande.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siam, a Thai restaurant located in the heart of Montreal, & it was an experience worth savoring. The restaurant's sleek, modern decor paired with traditional Thai accents sets the perfect tone for an upscale dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were incredibly attentive throughout the evening. Our waiter, Olivier was amazing & he gave the best service ! Truly recommend him ! (:
