Siam is a consistently impressive Thai dining spot in downtown Montreal where vibrant, well balanced flavors meet generous portions, a stylish yet inviting ambiance, and attentive service. Reviewers praise the wide menu from green curry to pad Thai, dumplings and satay, noting fresh ingredients, colorful presentations and many vegan options. The service is repeatedly described as friendly, professional and helpful, with staff guiding choices and making celebrations feel special, while the terrace and warm lighting add to business meals and gatherings. While busier evenings can bring noise and occasional slower pacing, the overall experience is high quality, good value for the portions, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites return visits. The result is a top choice for Thai cuisine in the city, where guests leave looking forward to the next visit.
This restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance, excellent drinks, & delicious food. The mango sticky rice cocktail is a must-try. The tasting appetizer offers a chance to sample a variety of dishes. The filet mignon in the pad thai stands out as the highlight. The green curry was a bit salty. The service was just okay; perhaps because we visited around noon, the staff seemed understaffed.
Went yesterday for the Father's Day. The experience was just average, I mean the service was very good, but the food wasn't as expected. The portions are small, & the prices are very high ! I understand the economy challenges, but 36$ for a Ksoi or a Pad Thai (with taxes & tip), it's 144$ for 4 people ! No drinks, juice or tea. The cook on site doesn't know how to cook Thai food, which is accepted & normal in Montreal. It's more marketing than anything else. Hard to find a parking around. The restaurant is clean & the decoration is cute. The waiting time was normal, just 20 minutes or so after ordering.

Service was great, friendly waiter. Very lovely & aesthetically pleasing decor & atmosphere. Most importantly food was delicious highly suggest their Thai basil fried rice & pad thai. Portions were generous.
Add this place to my favourite restaurant list in Montreal. It is located middle of town however the price was reasonable ( i was surprised when i saw the bill) & also not too hard to the parking. We stopped by there for a quick lunch ( literally we have one hour). The food was served quickly after letting our server know that we only got 1 hour. We ordered the duck confit wonton & coconut shrimp as appetizers, it wasn't too special (7/10). Shrimp pad thai & basil fried rice were main dishes. Those were amazing ( 10/10) . I can said it was the best pad thai & basil i ever had in canada. We did add up the seafood salad to our mean. But sorry it wasn't my taste. 9/10 for everything. Definitely will be back again. Thanks for our sever for the quick service & food recommendations. ( Sorry i don't remember your name ) & we hope to be seated in your next section again. Thanks for all.
Siam restaurant authentic thai was lacking flavour, texture & is just too overpriced for the quality of food you get. The Tom Yum soup was shockingly small with one piece of shrimp & one piece of clam making the price unjustified. The Pad Sew was lacking spice & seasoning even though it was requested & the wait time for food was long, service was sporadic & slow.
Celiac friendly menu & the waiter was very knowledgeable & was able to guide us through. We ordered the pad Thai (gluten free), the duck curry, the beef curry along with the papaya salad. Good portions & everything was delicious. I wish the beef curry was more complex in flavour but tasty either way.
I went to Siam for a bachelorette dinner & it was great. The food was delicious. We had the imperial rolls & the karee puffs which were both so good. Our group had chicken pad thai, vegan pad thai, & Chef Pantithit's crispy chicken & we all loved our meals. The Lychee Sangaria was so tasty. Our server was attentive & friendly. He checked on us regularly & was great about refilling waters, getting more drinks, etc. I highly recommend going there!

Great Thai food with excellent flavor! My husband & I shared the dumplings appetizer & then we each got our own mains (Sweet & Sour Chicken & Pad Thai w/ Chicken). The portions are quite big so you could honestly share a main plate with another person. Also a bit on the more expensive side but the service & atmosphere were wonderful. Overall, great experience & definitely recommend!
Party of 8 adults. We ate there as part of the Mtl a table initiative. The food was terrible. Salad was super salty. Pad thai was soggy & very sweet. Tom Yum soup was very sweet. I think the chef drop all the suger in the food. This is far from authentic Thai food. We were very disappointed.

J'ai toujours aimé mon expérience chez Siam! J'y vais assez régulièrement puisque c'est tout près de mon travail. Je suis végétalienne & votre Pad Thai est de loin le meilleur que j'ai mangé!
This place turned out to be a delightful surprise, offering the best Thai food you've ever had. The standout items, recommended by the waitress, were the beef curry, Chef Panties Crispy Chicken, & Pad Thai. To top it off, the mango cocktail left quite an impression with its creativity.
While the chicken dumplings & imperial rolls didn't quite reach the same level of excellence, they were still enjoyable. The icing on the cake was the pristine service, which left you impressed enough to leave a generous tip. This restaurant seems to have hit all the right notes for a memorable dining experience.
Loved the location the friendliness of waitress & hostess. Both Super helpful. The following is a comment on the food. Didn't find it was a good value or worth what I (we) paid. Also, didn't find the pad Thai filling. For me, I would have like more rice noodles & shrimp (I ordered pad Thai W shrimp). There were only 4. My friend ordered vegan pad Thai. She said she would have liked more noodles as well. She was questioning why there was baby corn in the veg mix. Is that thai? The veg mix did not represent traditional Thai vegetables. Also, I think I got her tofu mixed into my shrimp pad Thai. Bummer.
