Display Allthai(144) curry(86) recommend(70) chicken(67) cocktail(64) drink(63) beef(47) pad thai(44) rice(44)Second time dinning at Siam & we weren't impressed. We did really like the beef skewers & our cocktails. The chicken wings were also good. But the drunken noodles was just okay & the beef in it, was flavorless. It was supposed to be spicy but it just wasn't. Same thing for my seafood curry, just ok & the bowl of rice that comes with it, is so small, not enough for the curry. The seafood is 3 small shrimps, 1 scallop cut in 3, 3 small clams & 2 small pieces of calamari. Not many veggies. The flavor was just ok nothing special. It also says that the curry is spicy but my ginger cocktail was spicier... The decoration is really nice & so is the ambiance. But we didn't spend over 80$ for the decorations so it was disappointing. Last time it was the same, we enjoyed the appetizers & the cocktails but the dishes were disappointing.View more
Les plats sont simplement délicieux!!!! Je me suis régalé. J'ai été très bien conseiller par ma serveuse (les sauces des plats Curry sont débile!!!) Aucun doute que j'y retournerai!View more
Recommend: - duck wontons (very fun appetizers) - chicken satay (a well executed classic) - chicken red curry (one of the best we've had) - shrimp pad thai (a well executed classic) Will definitely come back! Shout-out to Zak for his excellent serviceView more
This restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance, excellent drinks, & delicious food. The mango sticky rice cocktail is a must-try. The tasting appetizer offers a chance to sample a variety of dishes. The filet mignon in the pad thai stands out as the highlight. The green curry was a bit salty. The service was just okay; perhaps because we visited around noon, the staff seemed understaffed.View more
The food was amazing. We tried the tom yom soup & green curry. I gave 2 stars to service due to very slow service. It took a while to bring water & then a while to take our order. When bringing the food, we got it bowl by bowl so we had to wait for rice. & then we asked for the bill & the person forgot.View more
Nice restaurant. The food is nice but maybe they can consider extending the vegetarian options to a good tom yum soup & at least two nice curry's.View more
Seafood curry is out of this world, order take out.View more
Celiac friendly menu & the waiter was very knowledgeable & was able to guide us through. We ordered the pad Thai (gluten free), the duck curry, the beef curry along with the papaya salad. Good portions & everything was delicious. I wish the beef curry was more complex in flavour but tasty either way.View more
Food was fantastic! Definitely get the duck confit red curry. Service was a bit slow but still friendly, & overall it was a great meal. Would recommend!View more
We had reservations on a show night so limited menu & presumably faster service. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks from the time of ordering & about the same for the food. This could be improved. I ordered the massaman curry with chicken. The chicken was excellent the curry wasn't. I recently ate at Siam Dix30 & had the same meal. In every single aspect it was considerably better.View more
The food was so delicious & the portions are huge! Really loved the Rainbow Salad & the Curry Salmon 💕View more
Food was great & so amazing. One of the best tasting Asian food I have tried in downtown Montreal. My favorites were the Duck wontons (yummy), Panang Curry beef, Red curry duck, Khao yam (Rainbow salad), Kai Yang (Thai Roasted chicken) & Satay chicken. The Kai Yang chicken was phenomenal. The curries were all great specially the Panang curry beef (very tender & soft). The Khao yam was the best salad I have ever tasted ever; savoury & a tasty variety of Asian flavours. The Kai Yang was so flavourful, so yummy. The drinks were also good. We had the taro & mango flavoured desserts. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the service. The service was extra super super slow & indifferent. I could not get the waiter. I would have had to do acrobatics to get his attention. I would probably die of choking & still not get the water. I wanted to order but nobody seems to want to serve us & we had to wait so long to get someone & order something. Even paying was so long & tiresome. If only the service was good, I would have given 10 stars because food was amazing. The place also felt a bit crowded. When I made the reservation I specifically asked for a nice cozy, quiet & private area because it is for a birthday but we were in a crowded & noisy area. The bathroom was nice & clean at least & the seats were comfortable.View more
The food here was incredibly flavourful. I ordered the mango salad twice. The seafood yellow curry was out of this world in terms of flavour profile. A beautiful interplay of Spices & Coconut milk. I look forward to eating here more.View more
This is a beautiful place. Have been here several times. Any of their dishes either yellow curry is really good. Their dumplings are one of the best. The desserts aren't that great though or atleast I didn't like those ... Will visit again. It's normally very noisy so can't be the onscreen when you really want to sit & chat ...View more
Excellent all around. Best Curry I've had in a while & I usually stay away from CurryView more
One of the best Thai foods I had in Montreal, the flavours are authentic & delicate & beautifully presented. I have travelled to Thailand many times & this restaurant will not disappoint you. I had the red curry, it was amazing, my friend had the drunken noodles. Just amazing, will be back for sure.
Le pad thai n'est pas aussi bon que le curry
Assez long temps d'attente pour recevoir la facture
This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in the city, because the quality of the food is very good. Used to be on the pricey side with the green curry beef at $35. Happy to see they've added a chicken option for green curry. However, there "to go" packaging especially when catering for Uber needs work. My tasty delicious food came in sloppy packages & made a mess on my counter & in the delivery bag.View more
Excellent Thai food with an upscale vibe. Tried the following Papaya salad - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ not too spicy but a little heavy on the fish sauce. Chicken Tom Yum soup - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - good flavor, not spicy - the bowl is small considering the price. Green curry with braised beef - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent flavor & the beef is super tender. Recommended, I am sure the chicken version is also a good pick. Drunken noodles with beef - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - excellent flavor & texture, really enjoyed it. Mango sticky rice - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - nice presentation & good flavyand texture - I expected more fresh mango on the top. Cocktails - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - the mango sticky rice signature drink is a a winner, good flavor & not skimpy on the alcohol ... obviously is a sweet drink. Overall really enjoyed the place, I could say that this is the best Thai food place in MTL. All dishes pack flavor & have high quality ingredients but the prices are on the expensive side. Good pick for date night ... Will definitely visit again.View more
View more
It's been a while I haven't come here. This year came to Siam with the mtl a table menu. The menu is pretty good for group of people to try. I like the vegetarian curry. The pork & chicken dishes were too salty for me. The desserts were delicious. Recommend the mango sticky rice. The rose sangria was good to share. At dinner time , the restaurant is packed, pretty noisy. But the service was good. 👍🏻View more
Really delicious Thai food in a nice calm & stylish setting. The chicken red curry was amazing, & so were the imperial rolls. Would absolutely come back!View more
I am very picky about where I eat. Food is an experience for me, it is something to enjoy. So when I saw this place had duck on red curry, I had to try it. My surprise was significant when we sat down & the duck on red curry that was on display on a picture at front was not on the menu. So we asked if it was possible to order it, server said "yes, is just extra"... Fast forward to the bill, we were charged for beef curry at cad$32 & duck cad$17, which means the duck on red curry cost us cad$48, & we never saw the beef that we were being charged for; which means white rice & red curry (no veggies) cost $32. How is that possible! & honestly, the food was okay. It wasn't great, it wasn't bad either. Just okay. My surprise at the veggie less duck curry was such that I didn't take any pictures of it. The only meal worthwhile was the seafood salad.View more
This place turned out to be a delightful surprise, offering the best Thai food you've ever had. The standout items, recommended by the waitress, were the beef curry, Chef Panties Crispy Chicken, & Pad Thai. To top it off, the mango cocktail left quite an impression with its creativity.
While the chicken dumplings & imperial rolls didn't quite reach the same level of excellence, they were still enjoyable. The icing on the cake was the pristine service, which left you impressed enough to leave a generous tip. This restaurant seems to have hit all the right notes for a memorable dining experience.View more
Siam is literally the best Thai restaurant in montreal. Their chicken wings are to die for, & their curry is always perfectly cooked. The staff is really friendly.
Incredible experience. Went there for 39 year anniversary, & was beyond expectation in terms of service, food experience, & atmosphere. Badran our hostess was incredibly kind & knowledge, & all food options were excellent, including Salmon Curry, beef penang, & beef stir fry. Could not recommend this restaurant more. Thank you!
the tofu panithit was ok but not worth it. It lacks vegetables & the sauce was burnt? I had tofu candy stuck in my teeth.. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. The star of the show was definitely the seafood salad, I loved it, if you like ceviche, go for it. the seafood yellow curry was amazing, but 3 shrimps in a dish is a bit....well....cheap. also took forever to get our glass of wine, we finished our meal by the time we got it. Over all, Great environment & would come back.
Friendly & accommodating staff! The service was great & food was delicious. We mostly ordered vegetarian dishes except for the chicken thai curry.
Positively excellent service. Generally ok food. Our soup was at best warm but certainly tasty. The mains were ok but the curry had far too much sauce. It was disappointing not to be able to have a pot of tea. I would probably come again but be cautious about what I ordered.
