Amazing restaurant, Chef Tony gives the best service & sushi. Definitely coming back !! ❤️Voir plus
Very average food for premium price Quality of the ingredients is not the bestVoir plus

Sho Dan in Montreal is a fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious, & the service is top-notch. From the sushi to the noodle dishes, everything is expertly prepared & presented. The staff is friendly & attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!
Wakame salad & fusion sushi were amazing. But the fish in sashimi was below average & the pieces were falling apart. Service was good.Voir plus
Have the short rib ... you will not need a knifeVoir plus
Very expensive for what you get. The specialty rolls are too busy & lose sight of what sushi is meant to be. On a positive note, I did not feel sick after eating here.Voir plus
The sushi & sashimi are very good. Tempura & black cod are okay but not remarkable. Overall, the food is good, & price is not bad. The sushi & sashimi platters are excellent. Service is prompt. The restaurant seems very clean, & it's nice that they have a pianist playing soft music in the background. Very busy place, so I would recommend making a reservation.Voir plus
Good food & attentive service. The live piano performance was a wonderful surprise. 😊Voir plus
Is sushi getting smaller? High end food with equivalent service. Expensive.Voir plus
First, the food, delicious beyond control, they have perfected their menu, & their food presentation is 👌, for the service we had the nicest man I've ever seen he helped me learn how to use chopsticks & now I'm a professional, he was super professional & every time I took a sip of water another kind guy waiter would rush over & give me an instant refill, the atmosphere was perfect the layout of the building, the washrooms, the front desk, the tables & chairs, the candles they give you while you eat, the flowers on the tables, almost everything about it is perfected to the point where I don't understand how this is only a 4.5 star resturant. It was so good that I don't know where they could improve.Voir plus
Sho-Dan, in my opinion, offers some of, if not the best, sushi in the city. This is a place highly frequented for business lunches & for good reason. The quality of the fish is always incredibly fresh & the rolls are expertly prepared. They offer very unique types of rolls which avoid the use of cheap fillers like tempura & spicy mayo, & you consistently get excellent cuts of fish. I highly recommend every roll I've tried on the menu (which by now is almost everything), but I have to say that the lawyer is my favourite, a very unique roll. This is not your traditional Japanese sushi dining experience (ie. This is not a place that focuses on sashimi & basic maki rolls, although they can be ordered), but the specialty rolls are truly out of this world & justify their price. Highly recommend this place for a nice sushi experience. I've been here for dinner & lunch & had excellent experiences for both services.Voir plus
