The dinner at Shay was amazing. First of all the waitress Pamela was very helpful & attentive. Brought the different courses at a perfect time frame. The Manager at the reception was so friendly & all the staff really made us feel special. We had only vegetarian plates which weee all delicious. Particularly outstanding were the roasted beets, Fattel Batinjein(eggplant) , sumac fries & the dulce de leche dessert was fabulous.
The atmosphere is conducive to a very enjoyable dinner.
Thanks for a great meal. Will definitely be back.

via LibroJe suis allé pour l'anniversaire de ma soeur car le restaurant a des bonnes critiques mais je suis sortie extrêmement déçue ! On était 4 personnes & on a commander 6 assiettes. Les repas étaient froids !!! Les crêpes baklava sont supposées les meilleurs & elles étaient sec & froides aussi. On a fait la remarque & on nous a pas prit au sérieux & ils s'en foutaient. La seule bonne chose est que le serveur était aimable. Je trouve ça poche aller au restaurant pour manger de la nourriture froide ...

via LibroFantastic & classy restaurant!! The menu items were quite diverse & creative. We found out there is an eclectic mix of Lebanese, Armenian, & Italian here but you could sense the sophisticated modern twist as well. Portions were large for a fancy restaurant. Lovely cocktails as well. Restaurant is perfectly situated for a meal before going to the Belle Center or just enjoying a nice part of downtown. We were visiting from Portland, Oregon

via LibroFood was great. Server was also amazing. However the overall experience & prices were anything but great. Restaurant had a weird stench. Food was way too overpriced for how small the servings were. & so many flies inside the restaurant, despite it being cold.

via LibroGreat ambiance! However, the price point is steep & the tastefulness of the meals don't always match. The tuna tartare was delicious, so was the beet salad with labneh. The grilled brocoli were absolutely awful. Every bite was a mouthful of oil. I took it to go cause we couldn't finish it. When I tried to eat it again, i wrung the oil & there was at least 1 teaspoon of oil per brocoli. The chicken in the shish taouk tasted like gas, & the hummus in the hummus & mushroom plate wasnt very tasty & lacked a cream texture. The drinks were just okay - I expected more from the drunken sultan: for 23$, it was a very amateurish drink & the ingredients that should make it a standout such as saffran were not noticeable at all & overtaken by a generic sweet taste. The meal ended up costing 300$ & I dont think it was worth it.
