I tried Shawarmaz's new sourdough sandwiches, & they're a fantastic addition to the menu! I had all four options: the beef shawarma, Bomb chicken shawarma, falafel, & lamb soujouk. Each sandwich had its own signature sauce that complemented the fillings really well. My favorites were the lamb soujouk with the cilantro lime sauce & the Bomb chicken shawarma with the dynamite sauce. The sourdough was fresh with a nice crisp exterior, & every sandwich was well balanced. Definitely a menu item I'll be ordering again!

Shawarmaz has honestly become a must-stop for me anytime I'm passing through Montreal on the way to Quebec City. At this point, I'll make a stop in Montreal specifically just to eat here.

Every visit reminds me why this place stands out. The quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, & the flavor in everything they serve are consistently amazing. It's honestly impressive that even as the restaurant has expanded over the years, the quality has remained just as high.

The biggest highlights for me are definitely the shawarma baguette - which is incredibly hard to find in the Greater Toronto Area - & the shawarma poutine. The poutine is absolutely unreal: rich, cheesy, flavorful, & generously loaded with toppings. They definitely do not cheap out on ingredients here.

I also tried the flavored beef donair, which was delicious & packed with flavor. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, & made with care.

I'll definitely keep coming back for years to come, & I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Montreal just to visit Shawarmaz again. Huge fan of this place. Thanks to the entire team for the amazing food & consistently great experience!

I've tried their shawarma wraps several times & wanted to try the shawarma bowl & it did not disappoint.

The bowl was filled to the brim with tender beef, & everything was flavorful & fresh!

It comes with basmati rice, potatoes, fattoush salad, & coleslaw.

Definitely a meal that will keep you full for several hours.

P.S. Make sure to order garlic sauce on the side-it makes all the difference.

Was in Montreal for one night, & walked into this spot for a quick bite heading back to the hotel. AMAZING shawarma. Just amazing flavors.

The flakey saaj bread, the crispy potatoes, the savory marinated chicken & beef. & super reasonable price for a considerate amount of food.

It's been a year & I still remember how I tasty it was. If you're in Montreal, I highly recommend

Overall, I had a really good experience at Shawarmaz on Crescent St-Catherine. I ordered the beef shawarma & really enjoyed it, great taste, good portion size, & very good quality for the price. The staff were nice & the environment was perfectly fine for a quick bite. Would definitely come back.
