D'emblée, je tiens à dire que les plats de mon frère & de mon père étaient absolument délicieux (dumplings & poulet général Tao).
Donc la cuisine peut être excellente ici.
Malheureusement, mon expérience personnelle fut tout autre.
J'ai commandé un ramen d'inspiration locale… qui, disons-le franchement, n'avait rien à voir avec la photo de présentation.
Sur l'image, on voit un plat structuré, équilibré, où chaque ingrédient a sa place.
Dans mon bol, tout était noyé dans une soupe opaque, sans distinction ni mise en valeur.
Le point le plus marquant : une quantité franchement excessive de champignons blancs tranchés - facilement 50 % du contenu.
Un choix étrange, surtout quand le reste du plat peine à exister.
Cela aurait pu passer si le goût avait été au rendez-vous.
Mais malheureusement, le ramen manquait cruellement de saveur, au point de rendre l'expérience assez décevante du début à la fin.
Conclusion :
Cuisine capable du meilleur… mais aussi du pire selon le choix du plat.
À éviter pour les ramens, à privilégier pour les classiques.
The vibes were so nice. Beautiful decorations. Food was really goood tooo! & service was one of the best we had. Our server had many tables but he made sure that he checked on us constantly. Didnt have to wait long either.
Meals we got: dumpling with peanut sauce

sesame & orange beef
molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream.

Excellent service & bel endroit. Ce n'est pas ma première fois chez Sésame.
Notre entrée est arrivé froide. Les dumplings étaient'frette' & la sauce arachide figée... La serveuse est parti avec le plat.
Ils ont réchauffés l'entrée au micro-ondes & non préparée un nouveau plat.... La sauce était cuite & collée sur le bord du plat... Décevant tellement...
Had a delicious dinner here. Comfortable dining area with option to dine on outdoor patio. They have a mix of pan Asian dishes & did everything well. They had meals for 2-4 but we ordered a few items off the regular menu apps, mains & desserts. We had a round of beautiful cocktails/sake flight & then ordered or my son first: the shrimp tempura & fried rice no protein. These were both outstanding; tempura was so crispy & drizzled with spicy & savory sauces - fried rice was savory & bold giving mild Pad Thai flavors topped with peanuts.
Mains started with the juicy Pork & kimchi dumplings; Crispy Orange beef; Salmon tartare with green salad dressed in a creamy sesame dressing; MIL ordered the sampler as main that included Papaya salad/Wontons/shrimp tempura/Vegetable spring rolls with fish sauce. Finished with desserts: green tea & black sesame ice cream & key lime pie.
Une belle expérience globale! L'ambiance était agréable & conviviale. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la soupe Tom Yum, même si elle est très épicée - à noter pour ceux qui préfèrent des saveurs plus douces. Le plateau de dégustation de dumplings était varié, & les cocktails bien réalisés.

Excellent service reçu par le charmant Philippe hier midi! Très à l'écoute & très serviable. Nous avons pris le général Tao & des dumplings aux arachides. C'était excellent 👍🏼
The place was hopping as usual. The dumplings was good- but sadly cold! The general Tao chicken was partially cold- but warm underneath. Interesting drink selection. Service was kind- but staff seemed overwhelmed- but always with a smile. Great place for my vegan friend !!!!!
We got dumplings (with the table d'hôte). Nobody brought us sauces nor sticks. The waitress was absent on this 1st course. I waived a girl behind the bar to give us sticks. My date wanted to go get the sticks herself. The waitress recognized her mistake later on. She apologized & was much better for the other courses. But this review is targeted to the team as a whole. If waitresses & the kitchen are overwhelmed, making sure that we have the least to savour our overly expensive meal would be to meet the strict minimum. The waitress still got her 15% tip, but I won't come back to this establishment again. It is very unfortunate. Thank you.

Restaurant prêt de la place des arts , un petit souper avant le spectacle. Service chaleureux, on a mangé sur la. Terrasse & c'était agréable. L'entrée de dumpling était super bon & le général taho avait bon goût mais trop cuit à mon goût. Donc, pour2,avec une bouteille de vin blanc, un entrée pour 2 & 2 couvers, avec le pourboire: 142$, ce qui est rendu un prix raisonnable
Général Tao trop épicé & trop sucré. Dumpling au poulet bon mais la sauce aux arachides beaucoup trop sucrée. Peu de subtilité dans les goûts & saveurs peu balancées. Le sauté sauce aux arachides est trop acide & le tofu manque de saveur. Verre à cocktail & verre à bière craquelé. Très beau restaurant mais les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur, & vaut mieux éviter la salle de bain...
Le resto par excellence pour une sortie entre amis ou de couple! Le Sesame est de loin mon resto coup de coeur depuis les années...leur variétés de dumplings & leur tartare de saumon sont simplement: 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Great location, atmosphere, & service. The food itself was mostly just ok for our group of 4. Pork dumplings & deep fried wonton were good, different flavors from what we've experienced in the past. The orange gochujang, general Tao, & pad thai flavors seemed off to us, but ok. I think with a few menu changes this place cold be great.

Très beau restaurant avec une bonne ambiance & bon service. J'ai pris des dumplings au porc en entrée, du poulet au beurre comme repas principal & des mochis pour dessert. Le tout était excellent! J'ai également pris un cocktail "slush" qui était un peu cher, mais très bon. Je vais y retourner c'est sûr!
