Soupes fades. Nous sommes des adeptes & le goût n'était pas au rendez-vous. Petites portions pour les pokés.
Ambiance jolie mais bruyante. Les tables ne sont pas assez distancées les unes des autres. Les clients s'enfargeaient constamment dans la chaise de non conjoint & il ne pouvait manger en toute quiétude car à chaque fois il renversait sa nourriture sur lui-même. Des excuses....de ses personnes....nenni.
C'est terminé pour nous de fréquenter ce resto. C'était une première & une dernière.
Very disappointed at this 3rd visit. General Tao chicken tasted & looked like KFC. Bread included (was it bread?) had freezer burn. Avocado & cucumbers were in the menu description : 1 bite cucumber, avocado non-existent. I will go back & try other dishes (their poke bowl is scrumptious 😋 - 2nd visit).

J'ai passé une soirée magnifique dans un cadre calme & serein entre cocktail d'excellence & plats goûteux. Notre serveur Carl a été au top de l'attention pour nous servir dans les meilleures conditions
Mention spécial pour la cuisine qui nous a séduit de son poké saumon qui décidément déçoit jamais.
Une place a recommander a tous & situer au coeur du centre ville
For the price, I definitely expected the food & drinks to be better. The atmosphere & service was probably what stood out the most to me.
The appetizers platters tasted ok at best. I expected more for the tasting platter but there really wasn't much for $24. The calamari was warm & didn't have too much seasoning to it ( I suppose it's because they were expecting the sauce to cover up for it?).
The cocktail I ordered tasted more like a fruity mocktail. The three Sake were definitely interesting. They all had their distinctive flavours & temperature which made the drinking experience more unique while eating.
The pokebowl was just very ordinary. The portion was decent but again nothing really stood out. The fish didn't taste all that fresh & again, It didn't have much flavour outside of the sauces.
The dessert was probably the best part of the meal. The key lime pie lime wasn't too sour & has a good hint of lime on each bite. The lava cake was chocolatey & smooth. I also ordered the black sesame icecream & thought it was pretty decent & had a good hint of sesame on each bite (considering how rare it is to actually find black sesame icecream in the first place).
One of the better highlights of Sesame was that they had really good service & the orders came in a timely manner.
the poke bowl with general tao cicken was very good & an attractive plate. ordered shrimp crackers on the side- delish. a non-alcoholic yazu ginger drink was very tasty. great view out the window. only prob- in the washroom no paper towels- have to keep up on that & the chairs need re-upholstering. but resto always enjoyable!!
Emplacement pratique pour le Festival de Jazz de Montréal, avec la terrasse adonnant sur le quartier des spectacles...le Poké Tao était savoureux & généreux, le verre de rosé sec & délicieux, le service très bien: j'y retournerai sans faute!
Belle déco & excellent service à la clientèle! Le poké est bon & les boissons violettes originales ! Le Saké est une excellente découverte ! Je le recommande vivement !

Ce restaurant situé en plein coeur de la place des arts offre un endroit lounge très agréable. Les assiettes sont pleines de saveurs! J'ai goûté la soupe de coco Thaï qui n'est pas piquante & bien parfumée, le pad Thaï au boeuf, le poké au poulet & le boeuf Teryaki étaient tous copieux. Il manquait selon moi des légumes dans le boeuf Teryaki mais mis à part cela tout était bien. Comme nous étions là pour célébrer un anniversaire, nous avons eu droit à un dessert (moelleux au chocolat) offert par la maison! Belle surprise & belle découverte!

My boyfriend saw this restaurant on Tik Tok & we both agreed that it looked beautiful. I booked a reservation here for my his birthday a week in advance. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, but unfortunately we were seated right by the kitchen. The restaurant played jazz music, but the kitchen staff were blasting rap music from the kitchen, which ruined the calm, jazzy atmosphere of the restaurant. We went on a Monday night, & there were plenty of other tables we could've sat at. Considering the fact that I booked the reservation so far ahead of the date of the dinner, I expected to be sat at a table with a bit more ambiance. We were both too shy to ask our table to be switched, so we dealt with it. The service was good despite a mix-up with our drinks. My boyfriend ordered chardonnay & I ordered rosé. They served our drinks, & gave him the rosé & gave me the chardonnay. The waitress mixed up the drinks, & they also poured the drinks in the wrong glasses (my rosé was poured into the champagne glass, & vice versa). As for the meal, I ordered a tuna poke bowl & was satisfied with it, & he ordered the Bao with general tao chicken. He was not very satisfied, because his sandwich was just filled with chicken (nothing else inside the sandwich, but there was a salad on the side). He was not very satisfied with his meal, which was especially disappointing since it was his birthday. He also didn't appreciate how leaky & messy his meal was, & he found that the bread didn't absorb the liquid well. Overall, I was pretty let down by this experience, especially since it was his birthday & I made the reservation so far in advance. The reviews on Tik Tok were exceptional, & my expectations were very high. I can't say this restaurant lived up to its reviews, unfortunately. I wasn't very impressed with the service.
Food was alright. Not a lot of taste in the chicken pad thai & it seemed to have a lot of pointless ingredients in it that took away from the good parts of it. My partner got the salmon & tuna poke bowl which looked & tasted much better. Other than that it's nice spot to eat at & good decent service
An Asian fusion restaurant on Sainte Catherine street which is always crowded. We have to book on-line to get the table. Food is more Asian. There are Padthai, PadSew, Wanton, Tao, Poké & Bao. Mocktails are ok, not great. Food is good, not wow but it is alright if you are craving for Asian food. There are also some outdoor tables.
The food was delicious & rice was cooked perfectly but some of the grilled veggies were undercooked. I highly recommend the tuna & salmon poke bowl. I thought that the portions would be small but the bowls are just really big & I left very satisfied:)
The location of the place is pleasant, particularly when seated near the windows. Overall, the food quality is satisfactory, but the portions at POKE are insufficient. We found the dishes lacking in salt & sauce. The bowls are oversized compared to standard plates & portion sizes (personal opinion). Despite this, the service was excellent, although they seemed understaffed with only one person attending to everyone (who was very attentive to us). Overall, it's still recommended.
