Overall, this used to be a good place to hang out. I've been there several times for hockey games. It's a dive bar, but the food is great & the service is very personal. They even had trivia nights, which was nice.
Unfortunately, everything turned bad & even dangerous. The staff allowed one of the regular troublemakers-someone with a criminal background-to harass random customers. He even threatened to fight people & waited for them outside the bar. None of the staff intervened or did anything about it.
That's a serious risk. A bar should take care of its customers, especially potential new ones, & especially during an event like trivia night on a Tuesday.
All that said, be careful at this place. The staff does not protect their customers at all. They allow dangerous individuals to harass & threaten people without any intervention.
We didn't eat there sadly, the cuisine closed as we got there. But I've eaten there a few times in the past decades, it was good! Good ambiance, good place to party on late hours, good drinks & services, & prices.
