My friend has been holding on to your business card for approximately a year now. She suggested we go & today was the day!!! We arrived for lunch. We're told we can sit anywhere. Took a large comfortable table. Atmosphere was real nice. I loved the hand painted wall art. Service was also very good. We ordered the $22.99 lunch special, which I don't normally do. Wasn't disappointed. In fact I throughly enjoyed it. Lentil soup was hot & flavorful. Could have eaten a big bowl 😋 Butter chicken was - Mmm Mmm, soooo good. Nann. Really everything! I cannot wait to go back with my husband & family. A real gem of a place. So happy my friend introduced me to this particular restaurant 🧡
We ordered Chicken Biryani & Mulligatowny Soup. We got served yellow rice with stale boiled chicken. There was no masala at all. Forget biryani masala, there wasn't even red chilli powder. This was not biryani. & the soup was stale & tasteless. I usually just move on when I come across a restaurant I dont like, but this one deserves to be called out. The order was so bad, we just couldn't eat beyond the first bite. This restaurant should be off uber eats. I've had bad food before but I'll remember this one for food razzie award. The chef needs to quit the food industry.
Always a pleasure, still 100% on the overall experience this restaurant offers us with each visit.
The dishes are extraordinarily flavorful; you absolutely must try the butter chicken or butter shrimp.
As for the service, wow, always exceeding our expectations. The ambiance is perfect for this type of food, very convivial. Nothing more to add except that we're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to the entire team.
I did take out with this chicken tikka biryani . food was 26$ just a biryani which is normally 10-12$ everywhere . I can suggest yes u can visit this place . Food was 7.5/10 reason is missing some rich flavour but still food is gud
Had a great experience here! The butter chicken was rich & flavorful, the naan was fresh & soft, & the biryani & samosas were excellent. The portions were generous, & the service was warm & welcoming. The staff were attentive & friendly throughout the meal. Definitely a place worth visiting for delicious Indian food!
Fantastic Indian restaurant! The butter chicken, naan, biryani, samosas, & chicken tikka were all delicious & full of flavor. The portions were generous, & everything tasted fresh & well prepared. The staff were friendly, respectful, & attentive, making the experience even better. Great food & excellent service-I highly recommend it!
Finally, an Indian restaurant on the south shore that competes with the best of Montreal. Years of being disappointed by our local options are finally over. I often judge an Indian restaurant by its vindaloo sauce because it is harder to perfect than the butter chicken. This one was spot on. Not too tangy, with a harmony of flavors. As for the butter chicken... yum... the cardamom was a lovely surprise. & the naan was great!
We have been at this restaurant & did takeout few times & my husband & I were really happy about food… but this times takeout we were so disappointed. We ordered vegetable pakora, onion Pakora, beef madras, chicken korma, shahi paneer, riz polau & naan. Vegetable pakora was thin & dry, all sauce was almost like soup, beef was dry & hard, naan was burnt. I have to ask, did you changed cook? We love Indian food & we have been many different restaurants. We were very happy for previous experience but this time we were very disappointed.Total price before tax was $91.70
