Delicious food! The pasta was exquisite! The tiramisu just melted in my mouth! We sat outside because: Vibes. Service was attentive. Will definitely return to try other options on the menu!
Not sure what was best, Juliette's service or the tuna crudo ? The wine was the perfect combination to the charcuterie board & incredible sea food pasta. Thank you !
Wow!!! I had the vodka rotini - possibly the best pasta I've ever had in my life! These guys are truly passionate about their plates! I'm in shock! The rotini were in-house handmade pasta, brass dye pressed, large format shapes which maintained their bite! Gorgeous! The vodka sauce was creamy tangy & they go on to layer a pesto on the outer ring & the inner section has a cream parm sauce w tonnes of fresh parm GRATED & SHAVED. Incredible value in comparison to what some fast casual pasta places have in the area (no shade but this is so well worth the visit)! Much love to the chefs & staff (so friendly & welcoming), will certainly return. 5/5 💥
Went here for the spectra deal. Overall decent for the deal price, though the drinks were expensive for what they were.
The bresaiola & arancini apps were okay. My friends really enjoyed their braised beef, but the bisque pasta was kinda tasteless not at all like bisque. Also way too many cherry tomatoes dumped on it. Dessert was simple.
Wine was good, though at one point my friend got a mulled wine instead of a normal red. Not sure how that happened. My to-kill-a (tequila) spider just tasted like cassis & sugar.
Live music wasn't great unfortunately, & I'm usually pretty supportive of amateur acts. Cool decor though.
Service was friendly & accommodating but needed to be trained better. Not sure why they don't give you a bill with the price breakdown before paying.
Cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of Griffintown with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We've visited twice now, & every single time the food has been outstanding. We've tried all of the pasta dishes, as well as the burrata, focaccia, & arancini, & each item has been consistently excellent. Every person we've brought here has loved their meal, which says a lot about the consistency of the kitchen.
What really elevates the experience, though, is the service. The staff genuinely make you feel taken care of from start to finish. They're friendly, attentive, & always courteous, creating an experience that makes you want to keep coming back.
Overall great experience, food was truly amazing with great atmosphere. Had the braised beef & pasta. It was incredible & appetizers were just as amazing. Worth going & eating there.
So far the portions are lacking. Got the whipped ricotta & it only came with 4 pieces of fried pasta (the good part).
Will update once I have the main
Edit: the main was amazing! I had the rigatoni with beef ragu, & it was so good. The beef was in slightly too big of pieces, but was incredible in flavour.
An absolute delight to have discovered this Restaurant! From the greeting upon entry to the seating at the outside terrace the tone of evening delight was set. For this the Chef & his Wait Staff Team did not disappoint! & for the Star of'THE SHOW', yes Natalya we will get to your singing shortly :)..'THE FOOD'! For starters the Fluffy Focaccia with plentiful whipped & seasoned butter & balsamic - olive oil delight was a treat when married to the Whipped Ricotta plate (endives, fried pasta & fig marmalade) ='MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN'! Now for the main dish; the Demi Rigatoni was both delicious & plentiful! The beef ragu was definitely not of the overnight variety for it had a richness & hint of sweetness which balanced well with the oyster mushrooms & the perfect al dente Pasta Rigatoni. Now for the Master of singing, Natalya...yes she has a Masters in Opera! She delighted the terrace crowd with her beautiful voice, her presence ever so thoughtful & considerate taking the time in conversation for my friend & I. In summary...dining experience extraordinaire! **********
The food, ambiance, service & drinks were all fantastic. Definitely recommend the seafood pasta & the purple speciality cocktail (I forget the name of it).
Really cozy restaurant, I would go back, they even had an opera singer who sang happy birthday, which was a fun & unique touch.
