The satay sticks were very tasty. Unexpected hit was the coffee, they made it Viet style by making cream from the coconut milk thank you!
I checked this place out as it seemed to be a very popular place in Montreal. They must be relying on hype alone at this point, because this was a disappointing experience. I have never been served a kebab that is literally one third of a kebab. It was an absolute joke! & it wasn't an accident. I ordered 3 kebabs, & they were all the same. 3 tiny pieces of chicken on one kebab. All 3 of them together barely made one kebab. The papaya salad tasted good, but it had stale, badly wilted herbs in it. I didn't eat most of it. I question whether most people writing reviews here have ever been to a satay restaurant before. Serving 1/3 of a kebab is not normal.
I was the Satay Brothers on a blog, & I wanted to try. I was not disappointed! Prices are reasonable & food & drink are delicious. We went on a Tuesday, so there were not too many people at the Atwater market, so we were lucky, & we had a place to sit. Good place to have a bite with friends.
