ORIGINS OF SANTOS All the streets in Old Montreal are named after saints. Located on the corner of Saint Paul and Saint François Xavier and given that the food served is Spanish, it was only natural to name place "Saints" in Spanish.

We've been on a Saturday night (girls night out) - only for the club. The music the ppl the ambiance is super nice ! I do suggest to come either early like 10-10:30 pm or.. 1 am.. otherwise a lot of ppl .. the restaurant / lounge is not that big, so the capacity can be reach out pretty quickly I do recommend to go there to dance ☺️ - very nice bouncers
Santos is an institution in Montreal, & for good reason! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth & nostalgia. The atmosphere is vibrant, & the staff make you feel like family. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, Santos never disappoints.

Ambiance assez bof comme si le party ne levait pas, service assez sec ils nous répondent qu'ils ne peuvent pas faire plusieurs trucs sans offrir d'alternative assez déçu :
Service was mediocre. The bus boy had to alert the waitresses that we were trying to get their attention. The plate to share at 65$ is basically a single meat cut & could easily be 35-40$ & this price is still generous.
Ambiancé à tous les soirs, on s'y trompe jamais ! La nourriture est fuego, l'alcool caliente ! Clairement un des beaux spots festifs du vieux port ! Pour les gênées qui osent pas lui demander : W.U.Mean sur IG, she the top barmaid. & Morgan... Morgan une perle ! Thanks guys for everything !

Nous y sommes allés pour un ladies night un mardi soir (le 14 mai 2024) nous voulions profiter du menu 40$ alcool à volonté lorsqu'on se présente on remarque que malgré le menu en ligne avec option végé ils les ont retiré du menu donc pas d'options vege/ vegan (pourquoi?) OK pas de problème on va faire avec mais après avoir commander nous devons attendre jusqu'à 25 minutes pour recevoir un verre de vin maison (est-elle partie la chercher à sa maison?!) Nous nous disons c'est un ladies night ça doit être normal mais non en fait le restaurant est presque vide malgré la musique mais sans crainte les serveuses aiment papoter le vin n'est pas si loin finalement pour vrai opportunité manqué & la seule bonne nouvelle est qu'ils sont un abonnement costco pour les tartares de thon donc au moins ils auront retour sur achat sauver votre aller vous même acheter votre thon & litre de vin au Costco
Food is good ! Vibe is great! Experiences are always case by case here...a lot of negative things could happen based on the reviews ! So far 2 times experience was great!!
The food was great, & that's the main thing. The atmosphere is super loud, & it's hard for the server to do much in that environment, so while it isn't my thing, it's not fair to remove any stars. So, five stars, would not go back :)
Was at this great establishment yesterday 10 april 2024 & I had a great time food was fantistic the drinks were fantistis I loved the ambiance & service was fantastic too. I will definitly be going back soon & strongly recomend this place to everyone.
