Born in may 2007, Santos is the quintessential old Montreal tapas bar experience. Open from tuesday to saturday, it specializes in traditional Spanish food and offers a large an original selection of spirits, cocktails, wines, sangrias and mojitos. Live DJs every night and many special events. Santos is ideal for your 5 to 7s, late night dinners, corporate bookings and live musical events.
ORIGINS OF SANTOS All the streets in Old Montreal are named after saints. Located on the corner of Saint Paul and Saint François Xavier and given that the food served is Spanish, it was only natural to name place "Saints" in Spanish.

Great place! Went for a few cocktails & the music was amazing but the bar staff made the experience special for us! Specifically Max, he was super engaging & spent time to explain the food menu & drinks! We will be back for sure !
Je ne recommande pas le forfait groupe 3 service , plat à partager portion petites & mal divisé (un morceau de lime pour 4 personne qu'on devait partager ) , le riz du sushi était à moitié cru , le reste de la nourriture était pas wow , on a attendu 40 minutes pour le deuxième service puis l'ambiance boff ils jouaient les mêmes 5 musique de 2014-2015 à répétition tout le long , le dj refuse les demande de chansons aussi. On est parti plus tôt que prévu
Le restaurant Santos est un endroit qui mérite d'être découvert. Dès notre arrivée, l'atmosphère chaleureuse & accueillante nous a immédiatement mis à l'aise. Les plats étaient savoureux, mettant en avant des ingrédients frais & de qualité, le tout servi avec une présentation impeccable.
Cependant, ce qui a vraiment marqué notre expérience, c'est le service exceptionnel du barman Max. Avec son sourire contagieux & son professionnalisme, il a su rendre notre soirée mémorable. Non seulement il a préparé des cocktails exquis, mais il a également pris le temps de discuter avec nous, nous recommandant des boissons en fonction de nos goûts. Sa passion pour son métier est palpable, & son attention aux détails a fait toute la différence.
Nous avons hâte de revenir pour savourer à nouveau ces moments inoubliables !
had the best time there last week! didn't stay for the club but dinner was delicious, i didn't expect to enjoy the food so much. the bartender Max took great care of us & was able to recommend amazing cocktails based on just a few ingredients we told him we like!! can't wait to be back this summe

Always a fun time! Max one of the bartenders surely gives one of the best services i've had in town. Great cocktail knowledge & help us choose the food accordingly. Would definitely recommend!
Loved everything from the food to the atmosphere to the drinks. Took the shared plate, wide variety of food which made us taste various new things! As for the drinks, the bartender, Max, eased every step of the way when ordering by being quick & responsive while still making great cocktails :)
We had such a great time working our way through the cocktail menu with Abraham's help! Lots of fun & interesting convos, & great cocktails. @callmehennytime @eldiablo

Amazing staff in general. Very welcoming. Abraham crafted some of the best cocktails I've had in a long time & went above & beyond. Vibe was cool, great music, cozy but chic house music feel. Coming back every time I'm close by ❤️

Par où commencez? Trop de belle chose à dire 1) La nourriture 5⭐️ j'ai bien aimé les tapas 2) Très belle ambiance 3) Service impeccable de la part de notre serveuse Natalia. Nous avions reservé une table à 18h30, pour boire un verre & dîner ensuite. Le service s'est fait rapidement, tellement rapidement que mon Cocktail à été débarrassé sans mon accord avant même que je ne le termine. (À 18$ le cocktail j'aimerai pouvoir le terminer). La serveuse m'en a refait un nouveau, ce que j'ai apprécié. Pour nos tapas. 3 fois on est venu nous demander si c'était terminé alors qu'il restait des choses dedans. À 21h la serveuse & venue nous encaisser & nous à demander de quitter la table car elle était soit disant réservée ensuite alors qu'il restait de nombreuses tables, & aucune file d'attente pour manger. On nous as demandé de partir alors qu'encore une fois nos cocktails & notre planche de charcuterie n'étaient pas terminés. Jamais il n'a été mentionné de devoir quitter les lieux à 21h, ni sur la réservations, ni à notre arrivée. Bref, meme si les tapas sont bons, l'impression d'être pressés vers la sortie tout le long ne donne pas envie de revenir ou de recommander ce bar. Tres déçue du service pour le prix que l'on paye.
The service has dropped low in this place, the bartender woman had this displeasing attitude like if she was doing us a favor just for attending us, I asked a Mojito & she didn't even crushed the meant herb on the glass, terrible cocktail & sour service.

Bonne ambiance, très bon service, la nourriture & les cocktails étaient sommes toute très bon.
Gros B mol, la portion des tapas, & surtout pour le prix indiqué, est décevant. J'en convient que c'est des petites portions, mais c'était des « micros » portions.
Bref, si vous avez faim, allez ailleurs avant d'arriver au Santos.
