Born in may 2007, Santos is the quintessential old Montreal tapas bar experience. Open from tuesday to saturday, it specializes in traditional Spanish food and offers a large an original selection of spirits, cocktails, wines, sangrias and mojitos. Live DJs every night and many special events. Santos is ideal for your 5 to 7s, late night dinners, corporate bookings and live musical events.
ORIGINS OF SANTOS
All the streets in Old Montreal are named after saints. Located on the corner of Saint Paul and Saint François Xavier and given that the food served is Spanish, it was only natural to name place "Saints" in Spanish.

Je ne recommande pas le forfait groupe 3 service , plat à partager portion petites & mal divisé (un morceau de lime pour 4 personne qu'on devait partager ) , le riz du sushi était à moitié cru , le reste de la nourriture était pas wow , on a attendu 40 minutes pour le deuxième service puis l'ambiance boff ils jouaient les mêmes 5 musique de 2014-2015 à répétition tout le long , le dj refuse les demande de chansons aussi. On est parti plus tôt que prévu
Ah & un cocktail de genre 30 ml c'est 20$
Les employés sont gentils.

Le restaurant Santos est un endroit qui mérite d'être découvert. Dès notre arrivée, l'atmosphère chaleureuse & accueillante nous a immédiatement mis à l'aise. Les plats étaient savoureux, mettant en avant des ingrédients frais & de qualité, le tout servi avec une présentation impeccable.
Cependant, ce qui a vraiment marqué notre expérience, c'est le service exceptionnel du barman Max. Avec son sourire contagieux & son professionnalisme, il a su rendre notre soirée mémorable. Non seulement il a préparé des cocktails exquis, mais il a également pris le temps de discuter avec nous, nous recommandant des boissons en fonction de nos goûts. Sa passion pour son métier est palpable, & son attention aux détails a fait toute la différence.
Nous avons hâte de revenir pour savourer à nouveau ces moments inoubliables !

had the best time there last week! didn't stay for the club but dinner was delicious, i didn't expect to enjoy the food so much. the bartender Max took great care of us & was able to recommend amazing cocktails based on just a few ingredients we told him we like!! can't wait to be back this summe

Always a fun time! Max one of the bartenders surely gives one of the best services i've had in town. Great cocktail knowledge & help us choose the food accordingly. Would definitely recommend!

Loved everything from the food to the atmosphere to the drinks. Took the shared plate, wide variety of food which made us taste various new things! As for the drinks, the bartender, Max, eased every step of the way when ordering by being quick & responsive while still making great cocktails :)

Très déçu par le côté repas de l'établissement
Les plats sont très chers pour des plats simples & ingrédients simple
Une erreur dans notre commande à entraîner un de 35 minutes sur un des plats
De plus le serveur remplissant les verre d'eau est très oppressant, vient trop souvent avant & après le repas, alors que on l'attend pendant le repas
L'ambiance ensuite est sympas mais les prix reste très excessif

Max is a phenomenal bartender! Made our entire evening honestly went above & beyond. Marco & coco are also incredibly hospitable & lovely. The team here are so fun.. drinks & food are great too. I'd come back anytime thank you so much for such a fun evening! I'll remember this evening & recommend this place to everyone. Please try ask for MAX

On a testé pour vous le saumon au riz.
Le saumon est parfaitement cuit.
Le riz était bon, mais il contenait des éléments blancs dont nous n'avons pas pu identifier la nature. Leur texture & leur goût étaient inhabituels & n'ont pas été appréciés

Really fun place to party, good music on friday & saturdays! Gets packed by like 12 ish. Bartenders are super nice, specially Simran she was the best i love her! Shes so fast & super responsive. Always have such a good time with her 🫶🏽❤?

Très déçu. Commander 1 entré qui était bonne (pourquoi le 2 étoiles au lieu d'1). J'ai commandé un steak & c'est facilement dans le top 5 des pires steak que j'ai mangé. De plus, ça vient avec des frites de patates douce & un cup de mayo. Aucun choix d'accompagnement, aucun légumes. Très cheap pour 50$ l'assiette. Je suis habituellement facile à satisfaire mais je crois qu'un restaurant qui sert des verres à 20$ & des assiettes à 50$ se doit d'offrir un service de qualité & des assiettes qui match le prix, même si le resto est situé dans le vieux port.

Always packed! Been there a couple of times & the djays are usually really good & read the room well. Only criticism would be the weird layout of tables in the middle of the club, it always leads to tension & people pushing each other. Just put them upstairs & leave the dance floor clear for us to dance My place of choice if I want to have a good time I recommend it !!

Way too loud. I really pity the employees that work there. They will have permanent hearing loss after only a few hours of working there. This kind of loud ambiance should be illegal.
