Ambiance cosy 👌
This sandwich cafe features a small menu of specialty sandwiches paying homage to various cultural diasporas found in the city. I went for the duck rillette, which was only a dollar more than the other selections. The space is eloquently presented as a sitting room put together by someone's mother. The vintage couches adds character to the space. Service was alright too. As for the sandwich itself, as regularly noted in reviews, the bread is the highlight. Perfectly fresh & soft, it almost doesn't matter what you throw in between with how amazing the bread is. I noticed in pictures from other reviews, my sandwich didn't have the same toppings as others. I had arugula loosely thrown in rather than lettuce. The layer of rillette was pretty thin, could have been a better portion given the price point. I would have been happy paying $15 for the sandwich but as it was nearly $20 it didn't really feel worth the price. But it was a tasty meal.
Great service. Their lemonade & brisket sandwiches with hot sauce was delicious
Top sandwich. Had the'special' brisket : meat, topings & bread were great. Value for price is good. Did not eat there (small but spot). Coffee was okay, but not great.

After a visit to'au Papier Japonais' we dropped in here - simply outstanding. Laid back, low key, great food. My partner had her first taste of poutine & I enjoyed a great sandwich - basically guacamole with chips & chicken on a killer baguette.
Everythiny was good- just a bit pricey for the portion size. I would pay maybe 15 for that sandwich (smoked chicken) & come back but after tax & everything it was 20. I can find something more or equally delicious in the area for half the price. Maybe if youre rich its worth it!!
No hyperbole: the BEST smoked meat sandwich in Montreal. The bread, the meat, the flavours… spectacular!
Délicieux sandwiches ! Tout est parfaitement accordé & fond en bouche. Ça vaut le détour !
What an amazing discovery! I ate at the le centrale location & everything was perfect! I'm rarely in awe....but this experience was exceptional. The food was fantastic, plentiful, & so unique. & the service by Miguel was so friendly & kind. He clearly loves his work & enjoys sharing his passion for food. I had the homemade smoked meat sandwich & it was so memorable. Highly recommended. Even the salad was amazing! It's homemade salad dressing & it changes weekly.
Will definitely be going back!
Delicious sandwiches tucked away in an adorable neighborhood. Service was incredibly friendly, & the lamb sausage sandwich is not to be missed
