Never can go wrong with dumplings! If you're a big eater, you'll probably need to order more plates but or else this is great to fill yourself up a little.
Amazing service, you can scan the menu on the table then order. You can eat outside or inside.
Just a little disappointed at the pan fried dumplings because the crust ontop of it was thin. They have soya sauce, vinegar & chili (I was told it's not too spicy)View more

Tried Sammi & Soupe Dumplings at Royalmount & I was pleasantly surprised! The dumplings taste really good fresh, flavorful, & cooked just right. The staff is friendly & welcoming, & the overall vibe of the place is actually great. Perfect spot if you're craving dumplings in a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend checking it out!View more

Super clean place & aesthetically pleasing!
Very very kind employees. They were so understanding & thoughtful when we brought our babies there. They have booster chairs available for the seat.
Food is so delicious. They have tea & dessert as well.
My favourite dishes are the xiao long bao pork&chive, the pork&scallops&shrimps, & the peanut butter pork dumplings.

This new location that opened with the Royalmount is bright, minimalistic & clean, & offers a small terrasse area for outdoor dining.
The soup dumplings are handmade, each with the dough rolled out thin & pleated beautifully. The chicken & mushroom soup dumpling was surprisingly juicy, tender, & wonderfully umami.
The pan-fried dumplings had a nice crispy skirt, but I believe the skirt is made of corn starch as it had a slight chewiness that sticks to the teeth. A flour-based slurry would provide a crispier crunch, but this is a question of personal taste. The beef curry dumpling was flavorful, but filling was on the dry side.
It is also worth noting that prices are slightly higher at this location than others.
The bathrooms were clean, however toilet paper was not provided. Instead, a stack of napkin papers were placed on top of the toilet paper holder which feels both unsanitary & highly uncomfortable to use.View more

I have had their dumplings at multiple locations, the one in Montreal near Concordia University is the original & is fantastic. The one in the West Island is new & is getting to the status of the others. & this one is just fantastic in terms of quick service, quality of food (always top notch) & cleanliness.View more

Super clean, fast seating, dumplings taste good, my favorite cocktail (since im not a tea person) was secret garden; blend of vodka & lychee which was really fruity & elegant. Fried dumplings were not dry, xiao long bao was perfect with the sauces & the premium truffle with pork was worth the money
As for the dessert, the red bean & chocolate bao, they were extremely yummy & good conclusion to the meal

The soup dumplings were good, the shell wasn't as thin & soft as the one on st Catherine's.
The hot & sour soup wasn't good at all, very similar to all locations beside the only good one on St Catherine's.
The staff never helped my wife & I to come inside while with a toddler in a cart & myself in a wheelchair. No one helped me to open the impractical door to the bathroom when using a wheelchaiView more

Easy dumplings are definitely the new comfort food. They often come with liquid inside, called soup dumplings or small but size bits that are fried. This particular chain of restaurants has a variety of different flavors available. They're made to order & come out of the kitchen piping hot. & wow, are they ever delicious. The location in the new Royalmount Shopping Center is a little difficult to find but well worth the search.

We were a large group of friends trying this new location of Sammi Soup Dumpling & they were able to accommodate us. It was a little confusing to get there as we came from the RoyalMount Foufou. It is not connected from inside the mall, needed to go outside to reach the restaurant.
The service is absolutely excellent! The waiter Kayden was very efficient & professional. He ensure that every need is met with care. Thank you for your service amazing 🙏🏻.

The food quality is definitely the best out of all chains in Montreal & the service was so lovely. We had a third person join us last minute & they gave us an extra table despite being busy(they're were still 3-4 available tables) & we're super accommodating. The sea urchin dumplings are a must try. The overral ambiance is great & I will definitely be back.View more

The restaurant was shown on the Royalmount IG page. First time trying this place out, so far so good. I'd come back again & I'd also recommend it if it's your first time trying dumplings. I didn't know what to expect but I like soups in general & was pleasantly surprised. The dumplings themselves have like a mini soup inside each of the dumplings. Things to improve. If you try the dessert chocolate dumpling make sure to eat it from the bottom otherwise it will explode all over. I wish the waitress mentioned this beforehand & left more napkins or a better bowl for it to explode into. They need to fix the door. The bathroom is a bit disorderly. They could add a rack to put the cleaning items on. Pricing was decent. The restaurant seems very popular & has been busy the few times I walked by before finally eating there. I will update my rating on my next visit. Loved the lemon water vases & glasses, really stylish.View more
