I was so excited to try Sammi & Soupe Dumpling since it was so hyped up. Honestly, It was decent but not as good as the reviews make it out to be. We ordered the pork peanut butter dumplings (best dish we had! Hot & perfect amount of sauce. Not too sweet), pork & coriander Xiao Long Bao (good, however the dough on top was too hard & as it cooled, it just kept getting harder) pork&chive fried dumplings (they tasted good) & the shrimp pizza dumpling (absolutely terrible! Mustard on dumplings? Especially on shrimp dumplings?). That last one totally threw us off & tasted weird. I wish they would've put that in the description, as we wouldn't have ordered it. We paid $27 each & while the price is not terrible, the dumplings aren't very big, I would happily go downtown to eat dumplings at a more authentic restaurant & better bang for our $. Give it a try & you be the judge!
Stopped in quickly to try this place & was very impressed with the quality of the dumplings. Tried the juicy pork & fried shrimp & pork dumplings. Both were great. Will definitely be back to try some others.

Amazing spot for soup dumplings. Not expensive at all & very high quality soup dumplings. The one downtown Montreal has a better atmosphere however, apart from that, excellent experience all around.
The Dumplings with peanut sauce were very good - freshly made & arrived hot.
Like other reviews, I found the service to be lacking. We were never greeted by the server (had to flag her over) & she never asked us if everything was OK or if we would like more water, etc...she just stayed behind the cash. & no, it wasn't busy...there was just one other couple in the restaurant.
We ordered one soup dumpling & two pan seared dumplings (pork & cabbage & pork & chives), everything was good except we both felt extremely thirsty after eating the dumplings, from my experience that means they added quite a bit of MSG in their dumpling seasoning.

I got the sweet pork dumplings, peanut butter dumplings as well as the cucumber salad! They were all fantastic, definitely recommend, it's a bit on the pricy side but worth spending
We picked up both steamed & fried dumplings, & they held up perfectly even after the drive. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food. The dumplings were fantastic-definitely a spot I'd visit again.

Great dumplings, I'd give it a 5 start if it wasn't for them seating us on a tiny table crammed next to other people while there are many bigger booths & tables not in use & the place being nearly empty. Maybe the seating arrangements in the store could be rearranged so the space is used more efficiently. Other than that, everything was great.
Je ne peux pas vraiment parler de l'ambiance parce que c'était un repas pour emporter. Le service était très gentil même si nous avons eu un peu de mal à nous comprendre. Mais surtout, les dumplings étaient sans aucun doute les meilleurs que j'ai mangés de toute ma vie. Ils ont été faits sur place, devant moi, pâte & farce comprises. Je recommande cet endroit.
