Having completed a XLB tour in Vancouver, i can say this is a decent option for the city. I went for the lunch special value play, where they knock a couple dollars until 3pm. It contains heavy MSG, the skin holds enough to not leak during cooking, or when picking the pieces up. I always prefer ginger slices in the vinegar, which this place didn't have.
If you are venturing from the west, this is closer to Long's noodle ???.

Wonderful soup dumplings! Lamb & cilantro & juicy pork. Nice nice people. We went early - a little after 1700 - so there was just a short wait.

With so many options in chinatown, here is one that is actually stands out & delivers on flavor! The fried dumplings were so crispy & light. The cucumbers were refreshing & a great pallet cleanser between bites. Missing from the pictures are the delicious soup dumplings as well devoured them.

We ordered the spicy pork & pork & chives, both were delicious 😋. My kids loves them so much, they ordered another spicy! Hands down some of the best soup dumplings we've had. Way better than din tai fung, though we did miss not having chocolate dumplings on the menu for dessert.

Highly recommend checking this place out! Yummy.

Tous les xiaolongbao (raviolis vapeur) & les raviolis grillés sont préparés à la main sur place. Le goût est excellent & les prix sont raisonnables. Même s'il faut parfois attendre une table & que le restaurant est un peu bondé aux heures de repas, cela en vaut vraiment la peine. Les raviolis & les petits pains que nous avons emportés étaient encore délicieux après avoir été réchauffés à la maison.

Some of the best dumplings I've ever had! They're moderately priced & the service is fast. There was a bit of a line when we got there but nothing insane. The food was very fresh!

Amazing soup dumplings! We've tried the original pork, pork & snow crab & chicken - get the pork & snow crab!!!!!! There's a good variety of items on the menu including vegetarian. They even have some lunch specials for Monday to Friday. Food doesn't take too long to arrive & its so worth the wait! Come early or be prepared to wait - it's not a very big restaurant & they're busy.

Will return again when I'm in Montreal next :)
