My go too Korean restaurant in mtl, make sure to have a reservation, theres always a line up. It moves fast but sometimes they could be 7 groups before you. The staff has always been super friendly & the food very good!

It's a nice Korean restaurant just I have been to places with better food in the area. They also recommend to reserve but you still have to wait. The place looks nice in general
Loved our visit! The place may not stand out when you walk by. But you'll be taken good care by young & attentive staff (kitchen & servers). Excellent food for very reasonably priced menu & speedy service even when the place was fully packed. 6$ ( i know, right?) underground all night parking under AMC movie theatre. I'm becoming a regular👍👍👍
My fav Korean in Montreal. The bulgogi bibimbap is a must!!! Generous portions, fair prices, friendly service & a lovely setting- what more is there to ask for?
Un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal. La nourriture est toujours tellement bonne & le service impeccable. Ce soir on a été servies par Yoshi, une serveuse vraiment incroyable. Elle a pris le temps de nous recommander avec honnêteté & patience pour s'assurer qu'on aime notre expérience, ce qui est énormément apprécié. Elle s'assurait que tout était toujours à notre disposition & elle a tout fait pour nous accommoder tout en étant extrêmement chaleureuse. J'espère vraiment la revoir lors de mes prochaines visites!
love love love this place !! ive been two times so far, & I will go again. the prices are very reasonable, the food is of amazing quality. the staff is friendly & the waiting time isn't too long, about 15 minutes !! I haven't tasted a single dish that I have loved so far. I strongly recommend the kimchi fries, the bulgogi & the bibimbap !!
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, & the service is good as well. While the food may not be exceptionally outstanding, it falls within the realm of decent Korean cuisine. It's of good quality. Of course, there are still many dishes we haven't tried yet, so we plan to return & continue exploring. Overall, it's highly recommended, especially before or after watching a movie.
I really like the simplicity of the menu. We've tried pretty much everything on it, & we've found a "bad" one. Portions, taste, & presentation are 5 stars for the price. What I really don't like is that there is no way to reserve ahead of time on Fridays or Saturdays. You have to put yourself on the waiting list for a good hour. The place is ALWAYS packed, so it makes it a bit annoying.
Great restaurant. We were sitting right beside a wall lined up with blinking led lights & that got a bit anmoying but the food was fantastic. The service was a bit slow too but nothing too bothering.
I came to Samcha after a recommendation from a friend, I was told it was extremely spicy & delicious, so I came with expectations. It was great, the food was piping hot & fresh, & the flavors were amazing. (I had the kimchi fried rice, extremely creamy & savory with that signature gochujang flavor). Along with that, I also had the spicy teokbokki with cheese that was equally delicious. Now, as to the reason why I only rated it 4*, the teokbokki was perfectly spicy, but the kimchi fried rice barely had any spice. According to my friend, it tasted as though they've toned down the spice quite a lot since her last visit. She had the spicy udon, & there was the same statement in terms of spice level. I have a pretty low spice tolerance, & when I can barely taste it, something feels wrong. I'd recommend asking to make it spicier if you're planning to order something spicy. Other than that, it's a great place with an amazingly warm & bustling atmosphere! The sojus tastes great.
Went for my friends birthday a while back, they were able to easily accompany our big group. The food taste amazing & fresh, it was beautifully presented as well. Portions are good for the price, I didn't leave hungry at all. The decoration is also super cute & the atmosphere is very warm.
Le jeune serveur, avec des lunettes,a été super courtois & patient lors de notre première visite. Nous avons adoré la nourriture & l'ambiance, tous ce que nos voisins prenait avait aussi l'air vraiment bon. J'ai oublié de prendre des photos tellement nous avons mangé vite! Des parents avait amener leurs enfants & leur donnait que des trucs épicés, alors les cocos pleurait, le serveur est revenu pour RÉexpliquer encore, aux parents ce qui était plus adapté aux bambins & ce qui était déconseillé. Svp poser des questions en cas de besoin les serveurs se feront un plaisir de vous aider!
