Le Saloon Bistro bar offre une atmosphère décontractée où les gens peuvent venir simplement prendre un verre avant un événement ou pour y passer leur soirée entière faisant du Saloon leur événement. Good prices. $7 for 2 gin tonics during happy hour.
Good servers. Glasses cleaned off when empty. Receipt brought when asked.

I swear I already did a review but I can't find it so I'm gonna do it again because this place is so fabulous! I was here 10 years ago & loved every minute of the experience. I remembered the poutine as being awesome! On this visit the poutine was even better than I remembered & actually it was the best in Quebec City & Montreal that we had in our two weeks of trying poutine everywhere. The espresso martinis were absolutely to die for (yes we had several), kudos to the bartender though I'm sorry I failed to get his name. Carlin was our server, host, everything to all people & he was fabulous! He was fun, funny, friendly, efficient & even more! The rest of our food was to die for as well, the atmosphere was just lovely, we love sitting by the big open window & watching the work go by! Thank you & kudos to all!!

Endroit incroyable. Nous avons mangé sur la terrasse. Nos plats étaient excellents & le service a été très attentionné. Le menu était très varié. Nous allons clairement retourner à ce restaurant. Nous sommes retournés & avons adoré notre expérience!

Was in Montreal on vacation ( from Halifax) for my birthday back in late August & had to come back to The Saloon. I had been there for lunch one day a number of years ago during a layover with the VIA Rail train & I absolutely loved it. This time did not disappoint either. Great patio, great decor, incredible food , ice cold beer & a gorgeous French male server. What more could you ask for. Jason & I had a wonderful time & experience. What a great way to start a night on the town. Thank you.

Great place to eat. We have dined at several restaurants on St Catherine's street & this has risen to the top. Food & service were great. For a restaurant located in a highly touristed area we were really suprised & happy. Will definitely be going back on future visits. Highly recommend it.

Ordinaire. Je me présente un mardi soir vers 18h. Selon leur site ils sont sensé être ouvert. Ils étaient fermes. Svp appeler avant de vous déplacer.

We originally stopped by for takeout poutine, & were immediately welcomed by the incredibly friendly host, Tommy. His positive energy & warmth made such an impression on us that we decided to return the next night for dinner-& we're so glad we did!
I had the tuna tartare appetizer, which was absolutely delicious, while my friends had the hamburger steak & the Beyond Burger. Everyone loved their meals, but what truly stood out was the vibe-fun, welcoming, & full of heart. The entire team of servers & staff created such a great atmosphere that made the experience memorable.
Bonus: it's the only place in the village where we found a great espresso martini!
We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

I really enjoy this place I have been going for years.The signature burger is really good 👍🏻.But,yesterday I didn't have the appetite to finish my burger because it's also huge.Soo,I ask for a doggy bag,& the busboy uses his hands to pick up my food & then takes it away only to bring it back to me in a box…I Lost it in disgust!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬There was still a half of a 28 dollar burger left.Soo,beware of the busboy he obviously doesn't know what he's doing.

We ordered nachos as starters & it was delicious. I had a chicken Caesar salad, generous portion & rich taste. NB: they serve the chicken breast warm next to the lettuce. Friendly staff but slow service

Steak wasn't properly grilled but it isn't a steakhouse so that wasn't so much a surprise. The Sangria was delicious & the service was delightful. The mood & atmosphere was inviting & the ambience made the got weather tolerable. Perfect place to start your evening.
