The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, & perfectly spiced, making every bite a delight. The Cumin Rice was fragrant & complemented the dishes beautifully. The Samosas were crispy on the outside & packed with a flavorful filling that left us craving more. The warm, inviting atmosphere & the friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Salateen to anyone looking for an authentic & delicious dining experience. Five stars all the way!
Great service first of all. The owner Hussein as well as their other staff are super polite & accommodating & will gladly entertain you even if you arrive at closing time which is already the latest hour for any restaurant in their vicinity. As for the food, I haven't tried too many options but I always love their Lamb curry with plain & garlic naan. They also have a variant of chicken/ beef chow mein which is adapted to the South Asian palate & isn't quite authentic. Nonetheless, I find it quite good personally & besides, there aren't any halal option for Chinese cuisine in MTL either that I know of. Other than that, there are Middle Eastern visitors there as well who quite enjoy their biryani apparently, from the feedback I got when I asked them. Their entire menu is very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended for late night South Asian food.
Local Bangaldeshi/Indian/Pakistani fusion of dishes. I tend to eat here once every year. Never once did they fail my expectations, the food always tasted great. We know the aunty who works there since we were kids. She's a very sweet lady. You definitely need to try their butter chicken its very tender & creamy. Affordable price & big portions.
First of all the food was delicious, We had the butter lamb, garlic naan, chicken byriani & samosas, everything was fresh & super tasty, the service was fast & super polite, the ambiance was calm. I will go back for sure
I’ve been in Montreal for a week, & this has been the best meal, hands-down. Not fancy, just GOOD comfort food.
Loved the Hakka fried rice & chili chicken. Sultan platter was amazing for our group of 7. We shared everything & had a great time.
