About us
With a menu as diverse as the clientele it serves, Sahib's attention to quality is paramount and evident in its lean and fat-free tandoori dishes, gluten-free choices and enough selection for a vegetarian paradise. The freshly prepared buffet lunch is unmatched in the West Island and features favourites like butter chicken, succulent lamb curry and chicken tikka. Five professional Indian chefs offer authentic Indian fare at all levels of spiciness. Try a bhojan vegetarian platter, tandoori grill feast, or a balti pot dish inspired by the Birmingham U.K. trend. Sahib’s samosa was voted “best samosa” by West Islanders! Our newly renovated British style Indian Pub has seven varieties of beer on tap including a few Indian favorites Taj Mahal and Cobra as well as Bass and Newcastle. We also have many domestic bottled beers and a new and extensive wine list. Join us for happy hour weekdays from 4pm to 6pm. Well situated off St. John’s Blvd. between highways 20 and 40, Restaurant Sahib is accessible to virtually anyone travelling to or from the West Island. Open seven nights a week for dinner, Sahib can seat up to 114 people and can accommodate up to 60 people for private functions. Take advantage of our early-bird special weekdays from 5pm to 6:30pm (excluding holidays). If you’d rather do your dining at home or in the office, Sahib also offers *take-out, delivery and catering for any type of event.

The take out order on Thursday night was below expectation . I have been customer for years at Sahib restaurant with amazing experience except for the last order .
without exageration, the food looked like it was left over ( dry rice , very dry chicken) .
Disappointing experience for my family .
*** As per the owner request ,
I contacted him on the email provided & still 2 months with no answer . Clearly not serious ***

Very disappointed with the new location in Dorval. Same price but quantities are a lot smaller. Had the same meal just a few weeks ago from the Pointe-Claire restaurant & I had enough for my lunch the next day. This time, I don't even know if I'll have enough for my supper. I was so happy when I heard they were moving to Dorval because they were going to be closer. My happiness was short lived!!!
Edit 2023-09-24: the restaurant replied to me on a comment I made in someone's Facebook post saying they had readjusted their portions. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt here & editing my review. When I have been to the restaurant again, I will post my findings.

Service & accueil impeccable. Bonne ambiance.
Idéal pour déjeuner à l'heure du midi. Buffets disponible & prix très abordable à l'heure du déjeuner.
Prix plus élevé à l'heure du souper. Buffets non disponible.
Un peu plus dispendieux si vous choisissez la formule de commande à emporté (a la carte seulement, pas de combo).
Quel que soit votre choix les mets sont toujours de très bonne qualité.

Great ambiance, wonderful service & FANTASTIC food. My girls went to school the next day & both told their teachers they had Sahib for dinner! It was a hit & we'll be back again soon!

Excellent service from the moment you walk in, amazing flavour, portions & freshness with every dishes we ordered (lamb vindaloo, okra, dal mahkhni etc). I would recommend it to all foodies & anyone that wants to venture into spice world. Very pleasant experience overall! Enjoy!!!
