The freshly prepared buffet lunch is unmatched in the West Island and features favourites like butter chicken, succulent lamb curry and chicken tikka. Five professional Indian chefs offer authentic Indian fare at all levels of spiciness. Try a bhojan vegetarian platter, tandoori grill feast, or a balti pot dish inspired by the Birmingham U.K. trend. Sahib’s samosa was voted “best samosa” by West Islanders! Our newly renovated British style Indian Pub has seven varieties of beer on tap including a few Indian favorites Taj Mahal and Cobra as well as Bass and Newcastle. We also have many domestic bottled beers and a new and extensive wine list. Join us for happy hour weekdays from 4pm to 6pm. We had the Sunday dinner buffet at Sahib Indian Restaurant - Pointe-Claire & it was a very disappointing experience overall. The buffet had very limited options, & most dishes lacked freshness & quality.
The butter chicken & lamb curry were overly sweet & not enjoyable. The tandoori chicken was the only highlight in terms of taste, but it was served cold, which was very disappointing. Many items like sweets & onion bhaji felt like they were prepared much earlier & not fresh for dinner service.
For around $30 per person, the value is not justified at all given the quality & variety offered. While the ambiance was calm & the staff were polite, the food experience does not meet expectations.
Overall, not worth the price & not recommended.

The atmosphere is just amazing ! My family & I had dined in the restaurant & it was a wonderful experience. If you don't enjoy the business of downtown Montréal, then this is a great place to eat out. Nearby you can also get some groceries if you're in a hurry. Overall, it was a great experience.

We had eaten the garlic naan & had found out that Chef Harwinder made them. Credits to Chef Harwinder - the consistency & care in his dishes really show. Nothing felt rushed or overdone, just solid, comforting food done properly.

Sahib Restaurant is one of those places where the food just feels right. Everything was well seasoned, fresh, & clearly made with attention.

A reliable spot I'd happily return to.

Well prepared Indian food with authentic spices & fresh oil used. The level of spices is just appropriate & soothing that provides the right kind of taste. Many dishes to choose from.

The buffet food is not as good as the menu choices before. Either the whole food quality changed & this is bad or the buffet dishes should be improved.

We use to go often to their buffet...but over the time noticed that they cut on variety of the dishes
No more lamb, only one chicken plate
The rest are veggies

We were welcomed in by kind staff. I asked to see a menu instead of the buffet because of my concerns about cross contamination but they said it was all the same. They told us which dishes to avoid. The food tasted good BUT my celiac daughter got sick after. As well as my husband & I also got sick & we do not have celiac so something else was not cooked correctly. We would not be returning even if we lived closer.
