The food here is solid-the Mutton Curry & Tandoori Chicken are excellent, though the Fish Pakora was overcooked & hard. Unfortunately, the service was arrogant & felt discriminatory. We were never asked for drinks, while tables around us received constant attention & refills. The older waiter made us feel very uncomfortable with his demeanor. We weren't even given the chance to order more before the bill was forced on us. Wouldn't recommend if you value being treated with basic respect.
I haven't ordered from here in awhile,it's been my go to since living in the area for the past 5 yrs. So I was very surprised today & so disappointed with my order.
2 Butter chicken, 2 rice,2 roti, onion baji & 2 papadom. The price hike is excessive now costing around 100.00.
The butter chicken was like eating chicken in tomato soup. Smell & taste & watery. The onion baji was flavorless & just not right.
I don't know if the place is under new management or the chefs was having a day or what but I am sadly disappointed & probably won't be a returning customer.sigh

Delicious ! I ordered by phone for a takeout order last night & have to say am soooo happy. My order was ready in 20 minutes. Ordered the Lamb Vindaloo for my brother who has been enjoying Indian food forever & he said it was the best he ever had. I had the Chicken Jalfrezi & it was outstanding. Not many Indian restaurants get it right. The rice & Naan were also perfect & the prices were more than reasonable & portions very generous. So happy his is close to my new place. Will become a regular !
Great indian restaurant, the server was super nice & attentive. The ambiance was very nice too. & we enjoyed the food, especially the butter chicken & gulab jamuns.
I recently visited Sahib Restaurant in Quebec. Based on all the positive reviews, I was expecting a great experience. While the food was overall ok, I found the prices quite high for the quantity served. For example, the tandoori platter costs $20 but only includes one piece each of chicken, lamb, fish, & shrimp definitely not worth the price in my opinion.I also ordered a drink, which unfortunately was a disappointment. On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean, & the service was excellent. However, unless they improve the portion sizes, I feel the pricing is too steep for what you get.
The chicken tikka masala is one of the best I have had in Montreal. The Salmon tikka was very tender & flavorful. Great service, had a great Sunday evening.

We use to go often to their buffet...but over the time noticed that they cut on variety of the dishes
No more lamb, only one chicken plate
The rest are veggies
The food is to die for LITERALLY!!!
If this place ever closes I would be so sad.
I would recommend the butter chicken, the naan & the Aloo gobi.
The service is pretty fast & they offer free popadoms.
We came last minute to the all you can eat lunch buffet & they were so kind & friendly & served us fresh curry & naan bread when there was none left at the buffet. Amazing service & the butter chicken was do die for!!! Highly recommended this restaurant.
We did a takeout for chicken tikka masala. The food was great. However, we got overcharged for it. We didn't realize until we got back to our hotel. They gave us the receipt & their menu. It clearly showed that we got overcharged by $4. It is not the end of the world, but it is a warning to others to check the receipt & verify the price before you leave. 2 stars for dishonesty. Edit: Someone called me & explained what happened. Unlike what the response said, the other tikka is not on their flyer menu. It is, however, on their website. That explains the confusion as the flyer only has the regular tikka.
I'm so disappointed with Sahib. Over the years I have been a truly loyal customer but the food quality has really gone down. I ordered the eggplant bharta tonight & it was extremely oversalted, lacking flavour. As well, I ordered the chicken madras but i'm quite certain the restaurant provided chicken korma because usually in the past the sauce is more red. There was a total of about 5-6 chicken pieces in watery sauce. In the past, the portions were packed with flavour with so much more chicken included. I loved Sahib but i'm truly disappointed. I hope they can make a change for the future!
We went there for a quick late lunch. Ordered lamb biriyani, chicken vindaloo, naan & gulab jamun. The biriyani was very good in both taste & presentation wise. I would have liked the chicken vindaloo to be more spicy as traditionally this is a spicy dish. It tasted more tangy rather than spicy. The nan was ok but small compared to naans at any other restaurant. The papadums were cold & didn't meet the expectations at all. The highlight was the gulab jamuns. They were hot, soft & fluffy. They were the best gulab jamuns I had recently. The service was excellent. Definitely recommended if you are craving for some delicious desi food.

Ordered online for pick up. The ordering process was super easy, the order was ready on time. However, the food was disappointing. I had heard many great things about this restaurant over the years so we decided to give it a try since we love Indian food. The butter chicken sauce tasted more like tomato soup than rich & creamy. & for $21.95, I was expecting more than 10-12 overcooked bite size pieces of chicken. The lamb Chettinad was tasty, even though the lamb was a bit tough. The tandoori plate for 1 was just ok. The 4 items (chicken, fish, 1 shrimp, ground meat sausage) were dry & overcooked. All the main meals do come with either naan or basmati rice, so that's a plus. Skip the stuffed Kulcha for $7.95, it was a small naan brushed with garlic butter. Far from the description of chilli paneer naan. Overall, not a complete horrible experience but won't be ordering again.
Butter chicken & Shahi paneer tasted the same looks like they have same gravy for all. Someone took the order & vanished, i had to go & find the person to tell him i will be late for pick up. When i return back the resturant was closed, but i managed to get some portion of my order as the chef had left. I think the restaurant needs process improvements to deliver customer satisfaction.
We had lunch buffet here & it was a nice, quick, tasty meal. You have staples like butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chickpeas, beef curry. The quality isn't as good as the order menu, but I wouldn't expect it to be. The naan bread here is so much better than the Dorval location à la carte version. Not charred to bitterness with good taste & a hint of spice.
