Our Specialties
Tandoori, Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Curry and Vegetarian dishes.
Sahib delivers flavorful Indian dishes with warm, attentive service in a comfortable, ambient dining space. The menu spans favorites like lamb curry, butter chicken, naan and tandoori items, and offers satisfying vegetarian choices, while the buffet is a popular option for variety and real value. Across visits, the atmosphere, cleanliness and generous portions stand out, prices are seen as reasonable, and both dine in and takeout experiences are praised, though a few guests note that the butter chicken can be a touch sweet and some buffet dishes could be more consistent.
Food excellent as always. Service was not up to the same standard. Too many tables squashed into the area so people sitting in parallel push past to get by. Air conditioning works wonders in making your food go cold - turn it off?
Sahib is the best Indian food restaurant in the Montreal region by far! Everything you will choose on the menu is just unbelievable! You want to have a great meal you have to think Sahib.
Extensive menu, excellent food most of it very spicy, prompt, attentive & efficient service. The 10% discount coupon was quickly accepted. Our confirmed reservation for Saturday had mistakenly been put down for Friday. I showed them the printed reservation & we were given a table with apologies. Our table for two was very small with only barely enough table space for the dishes & the chairs were uncomfortable. Overall the dining experience was positive.

Great food but unfortunately some of the worst delivery service I’ve ever experienced. Multiple instances where delivery has been well over an hour late of when it was supposed to arrive.
Take out.
If you're used to Indian food, you will not like this place. The butter chicken was in a tomato sauce , very bland & not at all spicy as requested . The shrimps are not 16-20 as stated... They were tiny & very over-cooked. The lentil dish was very bland as well. We had to add sauce from our fridge to make it better.
The service upon pick-up was terrible.
Never going again.
I had high expectation & I was a little disappointed. Not because of anything they did, or didn't do.
I was hoping for vegetarian dishes. There was a wonderful variety of dishes. Everything smelled amazing.
The only criticism I have is that everything was too spicy, as in the heat, not the flavours. The heat was a single & slightly camouflaging note across most dishes, except the butter chicken, which tasted beautifully buttery. If you are not a fan of spicy heat, this place isn't for you.
The staff were friendly & attentive. The atmosphere is fine.
We went for a late lunch & they were already getting ready for a busy evening with a full house.
I believe the diner menu may be different.
I think this is a place that requires another visit to see if it's different or consistently spicy.

Ordered delivery for two. The woman on the phone was extremely rude & didn't seem to care that I was asking what the vegan options on the menu were. She said that our food would arrive within the hour, & it took two. When we received our food, it was freezing cold & had things we specifically asked to be replaced as it contained dairy. They also did not substitute any of the items we could not eat, so we paid full price for basically rice, roti & cold chick pea soup. Not impressed, I really liked Sahib until tonight. Won't be ordering again.
The service is terrible. We ordered & when we realized that we had been waiting for an hour, we called to know where our order was at. We were first put on hold & then when we tried to explain the situation we were hung up on! We will not order from this place again that shows so little respect for its customers.
Really impressed with this place. Clean, could be casual or fancy & food is excellent. Great selection. They have all the Indian staples. I will definitely go back!
I have gone to this restaurant on two occasions for the buffet on sundays first time the food was delicious the service not great but decent enough to not be remarked upon. I put it on my do it again list...second time the food was good but the naan had not been replenished ..the padoras had sat just a lil too long but what really shone was the awful awful service our water did not get refilled at any point, the dishes just sat there for our whole meal we had three plates each so we decided to just stack them up..we were also not the only ones people left & their plates just stayed there ..it was odd because there was alot of waiters & servers around who were not doing much but looking bored. YES they have good food for the most part (although the selection is quite small) but eating out is more than for the food its for the experience & for the price this cost i rather have saved my money gone to many of the other great indian restos in the city.
