Afficher toutchicken(16) club sandwich(12) sandwich(7) club(6) pie(5) piri piri(4) tasty(4) thing(4) benny(4) fries(4) onion rings(3) quick(3)Got there at 11:30am for takeout on a Saturday (no clients) was told ready in 10 minutes (3 club sandwiches & 1 leg meal) - took over a half order to get it! In the meantime a person came in for a take out (5 orders of leg meal) & got it in under 10 minutes. Worker in back kept on coming to the front & talking with cashier & never acknowledged us waiting in dining area. after 20 minutes asked cashier about order & she spoke with worker in back. Guess you pay for your meal & have to remind them to prepare your order. Never again at this location. Food was mediocre & all orders had fries that were bits & pieces all over done.
Rotiserrie benny deserves more than 5 stars! The chicken is always juicy & flavourful & also the team provides friendly & quick service. Last but not the least one of the best rotisserie spots in town!
The best place i have ever visited....it is absolutey fantastic! The chicken is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous & the main thing staff is very friendly
Rotisserie Benny offers delicious, fresh rotisserie chicken with generous portions.
⭐ The staff is friendly, & service is usually quick & efficient.
⭐ A great spot for a satisfying, affordable meal-always consistent & tasty.
Would have been a good experience had the counter server had given us the actual order we paid for. We had asked for rice instead of rice as our toddler does not eat fries. Coming home hungry, we opened the box only to find a mountain of fries. The lady serving did communicate to the staff in the kitchen if fries can be replaced & it was understood & agreed upon. This is such a disappointing first time experience. Food is good but service is a disappointment. We called to express our concern & the lady was defensive not even offered anything to make this correct.
So I will not mention the food because we all know what it is & that it's good. What makes a difference in these places is the service. I was the last customer tonight. The staff still gave a top service as if I were their first cs in the morning. They are super friendly & give great customer service. The food always tastes better when it is served by great people.
Ordered 2 chicken breast meals, plus onion rings. One meal was hot, juicy & delicious, the other was cold & dry (both chicken & fries), but the worst was the onion rings. We got only 5 onion rings for $6 & they weren't cooked all the way through!! I had to crisp them in my air fryer, in order for us to be able to eat them. It's inconsistencies like this that give a restaurant a bad reputation. Will be a while before we go back. ☹️
Update 2024. I went to Au coq tonight to get a club sandwich. Of course they now call it Benny & Company. It was the worst experience I've ever had there. I've been going many times over the years since it opened originally I was looking forward to the reopening. I ordered the club sandwich, pretty simple. The sandwich was cold to the touch. It looked like there was one piece of bacon, chopped into four for the sandwiches now they put their fries in some kind of bag so by the time you get home, the steam from the fries, turns it into a potato loaf in edible I also ordered an apple pie also raw & in edible. I called them saying I was coming for a refund. They absolutely refused. They said their policies don't allow for refunds. So for now, I wasted $20 & had to go out & get myself something to eat. I will be calling to speak to a manager there & their head office but I do not recommend anybody go to that place. They don't care at the front counter & they certainly don't care in the kitchen if they could put out food like that.
Honestly I am a St-Hubert type of guy for over 30 years but today I said let me give Au Coq a chance. I think their fries peeked my interest & so began the walk onto the dark side 😅. The food was good for what, half-rack of ribs with oven roasted chicken thighs. Was it great? No it was good & I know it wasn't hot but the food was good even at the temperature I had it. Their sauce was good also, the chicken skin was nice. What really got my attention was that they advertised apple pie chausson like BK, Harvey's & such. To find out they were out!! So I went with the pecan pie, now that was one of the best restaurant pecan pie I've had in a long time. I am curious what the apple pie taste like & the meal when it's freshly prepared. Staff was very pleasant too.
