I previously ordered takeout from this location & when I arrived, my order was supposedly'ready,' yet I still had to wait an additional 45 minutes before receiving it.

Today, I decided to give this place another chance & came to dine in. We've now been seated for 47 minutes & still haven't received the food we ordered over 40 minutes ago.

I understand restaurants can get busy, but this is absolutely ridiculous. This is by far the slowest St-Hubert I've ever been to.

EDIT: George personally reached out to me after my review, & I really appreciated him taking the time to speak with me directly. He went over the situation, provided excellent customer service, & helped resolve the issue. He also offered compensation for the poor experience, which I truly appreciated. I was assured they are actively working on improving this issue moving forward. Thank you again, George, for handling the situation professionally.

Très bel endroit, fraîchement rénové. Le bar, avec son backdrop rétro-éclairé couleur'feu', vaut le détour.
La poutine au homard était excellente.

After a long day at work, I stopped for a quick takeout at St-Hubert Express, conveniently located close to Carrefour Laval.

The chicken is consistently good & flavourful. Their signature sauce really stands out-better than what you'll find at a lot of other chicken spots across Montreal & even Canada, meaning Swiss Chalet. It's simple, but done right.

Service was efficient. I waited about 10 minutes for my order, & by the time I got home (another 10 minutes), the food was still warm, which says a lot about their turnaround & packaging.

All in all, a reliable spot when you want a quick, satisfying supper without wasting time.

A group of teenagers seated in a booth next to ours had a phone playing loud musique. Then, at some point, they were on a long phone call in hands free mode. & they were also playing some sort of beer pong game. Quite noisy. We had already started eating so we could just move to another table.
