Display Allcafe(7) coffee(7) pizza(6) croissant(6) quality(6) sandwich(6) sandwiches(5) fresh(3) lunch(3)They don't sell ice coffee, they don't sell breakfast sandwiches, they gave me a pecan muffin instead of the blueberry I asked for, & it only had like one pecan. This empty storefront sucks & I won't be surprised when they close.View more
The food is decent which warrants the three stars. What is deceiving is that there is nothing to eat or pick up when they open at 7:30 just coffee. Also when you purchase 6 pastries or filled croissants, they will charge you tax when it is tax exempt. When I inquired about this issue, I was simply told that I was not the only person to point that out & that's how their billing system was setup. Please have your system setup properly in order to not overcharge your customers.View more
Their coffee tastes watered down for the same price range as nearby cafés that provide much superior quality coffee.View more
I started visiting this Rue McGill bakery about once per week or so during weekends last fall. Every time I visited, I politely placed my order, patiently waited for it, & paid with a 18% tip. I never complained, was always patient & polite, always tipped well, & never said or did anything that could offend a sane person. (Except for ordering in English, perhaps? An unusual thing for a Griffintown café to be offended by.) When I arrived for my last visit, the inexplicably rude & angry server (a thin young man with glasses dressed all in white) loudly announced "There he is!" to himself with great annoyance (as if I were deaf), walked up & said "Hello!" in the rudest & most hostile tone imaginable. He was clearly displeased to see me back yet again to buy more food from the café he works at. It was truly bizarre. It's beyond me what I ever did to warrant such extreme rudeness. Although taken aback, I politely placed my order, waited for it, paid for it, & left, all without commenting on his extreme rudeness when I really should have. I even left the usual 18% tip, even though 0% tip was deserved given how rudely I was treated. (At least "his colleague" wasn't also as rude to me, although that's an exceptionally low bar.) Fortunately, there are many cafés in this area, all of which are far less rude & more appreciative of their customers' business than italienne Rosetti. Many of them serve better food & coffee too. Indeed, I'm spoiled for choice as to much better places to take my business. Don't go to this café. Go to literally any other café in the area instead, & there are many of them to chose from, all of whom deserve your business far more than italienne Rosetti & their incredibly rude employee. This place doesn't deserve to be in business & its rude employee doesn't deserve to have his job.
Rosetti has many selections of yummy sandwiches & desserts. Especially, the bread are soft & moist. Their coffees are good too. You can either order take outs of dine in, although dine in area is small.View more
Used to be much better when it opened a couple of years ago, but quality substantially dropped. Coffee is objectively bad, & while the lunch options (sandwiches, pizza slices etc) are still good, they don't compare to what they used to be. But it is spacious on the inside & still a decent, if not fun, lunch option.View more
